Friday, 28th October 2016 - Preparing for the Beach
Dear Diary
The new year twelve course really seemed to heat up today. One of my classes received their first assessment task today. We weren't really able to start it yet, but just receiving it was a concern. While there was no assessment booklet, it seemed very likely that many more were going to arrive soon.
When I got home I continued to read the messages which were sent between Prey and Intruder. Lying down on my bed with Biscuit while I was supposed to be sleeping, I discovered that Prey and Intruder were going on a date tomorrow. While this itself was not particularly noteworthy, as they seemed to go on a date weekly, it's location was. There were going to the beach.
This did make sense, as the weather was warming up very nicely. However, it was quite a distance away. Getting there was going to be tricky. I wondered if I would be able to convince Bear's parents to drive me there.
I called Bear, who asked her parents. They seemed fine with it, even asking if 'that boy' would come. I assumed that the person they were referring to was Mouse. When I checked with him he said that he would attend.
Looks like we were off to the beach.
