Saturday, 16th July 2016 - Phone Searching
Dear Diary
This morning, just as my parents and I were having breakfast, I saw Him and the rest of his family getting into what was presumably their car, laden with skiing equipment. This worked out very well for two main reasons. My parents had told me that we were going to spend the first part of the day at the hotel just doing what we want. After lunch we were going to go skiing. This way I got to go through his room and spend some time with the snow.
When breakfast was complete, my parents informed me that they were just going to watch the television and I was welcome to join them. I declined, saying that I would take Biscuit out for a walk. He had been indoors for most of the past few days and it was about time that he got a walk.
I retrieved his lead, wished my parents a good time and I was off. I gave Biscuit a bit of an actual walk before turning my attentions to His room.
I quickly unlocked the door to his room and entered, closing it behind me. Behind the door was a room, with another connecting it. Between the two there were five beds and one double bed. They all seemed to have been used the night before aside from one of the single beds.
I was able to determine which bed was His fairly quickly due to his suitcase and belongings which were piled on it.
I let Biscuit wander the room. It's not like there was any place for him to go. Unzipping His suitcase, I searched through it. I wasn't searching for anything in particular, but just something which would stand out. After several minutes of searching, I concluded that there wasn't really anything of note in there, although I did discover that he had gone up a shirt size since last year. I placed everything back in its place and searched his bed, finding his phone underneath the pillow. Initially I was surprised that it was there, but it did make sense, as there wasn't really anywhere to put it while skiing. It had a password, but it was an older model phone, meaning that the data on it probably wasn't encrypted like it is on more and more phones seem to be these days. I retrieved my phone from my pocket and, finding a cable, connected them. I quickly went through his phone for things to copy, including photos, messages and his contact list.
When it finally finished copying, I put everything back in the way it was when I found it, retrieved Biscuit who had walked off into a corner and left the room, relocking the door as I exited.
I gave Biscuit the rest of his walk.
Following my return to the room, my parents and I had lunch in the dining hall. After this we got ready for skiing and soon left.
Most of my attempts to ski were just as successful as the first time. That is, pretty bad, although I had started to improve slightly. I was going down the mountain at a steady pace, even going down several times before it was time to leave. I didn't really see Him during my time, but I think I did. I'm not sure if that's because I was expecting to see him or if it's because I actually saw him.
When we left the ski place for the hotel again, I definitely saw him and his family. I made sure that he did not see me.
My family had dinner and then spent much of the evening watching tv. I started to go through his phone before going to bed.
