Steven's P.O.V:
I lean on the bathroom door, should I let Peridot come?
Nah, I think she's worn out for today, she was chased by Lion. She was so cute while Lion was chasing her..
I snap out of my daydream. Time to go!
I go out to the Big Donut.
Soon enough, I reached there and saw Connie reading an Unfamiliar familiar book. I open the door. "Hey Connie!"
"Hey Steven!" She left her book and went to hug me. She let go of me.
"So, wanna eat a donut?" Connie asks.
"Yeah, I'll get the chocolate one. So, what do you want?" I ask. I want to offer her a donut. My treat.
"The strawberry. I'll go buy a strawberry one and-"
"No worries, I'll buy one for you! My treat!" I exclaim and went to the counter.
"Oh, thanks Steven!" She thanks me. She smiles at me beautifully.
"No problem!" I reply, smiling. She's so beautiful when she smiles.
"Hey Steven." Sadie greets. She nudges Lars, who was reading a magazine about girls.
"What." Lars sneers.
"Don't you know you have a job here!?" Sadie growls. Here we go again.
I watch them as they keep bickering. Those two really have to get along.
I fakely cough to call their attention.
"Sorry Steven." Sadie apologizes and punches Lars. "What could I get for you?"
" A chocolate and a strawberry donut please." I order, I pay her and she nods.
She gives me the donut and she goes back to bickering with Lars.
"Here you go, Connie." I give her the strawberry donut and sits down with her.
"Thanks." Connie says.
Hmm, I wonder if Peridot is fine, after all, she's a crystal gem now. I trust her and I'm sure she trusts me too.
"Steven."
I think about how cute she was when Lion kept chasing her around.
"Steven?"
Aww, still can't get over the cuteness.
"Steven!"
I snap back to reality. "Y-Y-Yeah?"
"Are you alright?" Connie asks.
"Yeah, sure." I reply. I daydream too much, hehe.
"Okay.." She says awkwardly and releases her book.
"You're thinking about something. I can tell."
"What?" I ask. Damn, she's too smart.
She raises her left eyebrow.
"Alright." I start to admit. "I'm just thinking about Peridot being so cute when Lion was chasing her."
"Okay." She smiles at me. I can tell it's a fake smile but oh well.
"Well." She stands up with her book. "I gotta go now, it's sunsetting."
"Alright, bye!" I wave at her as she goes to the store.
"Bye!" She replies.
Guess I gotta go home too. "Bye Sadie and Lars!"
Sadie waves me goodbye as I go to the crystal temple.
I wonder what Peridot's doing. I hope the crystal gems are back. I hear screaming "AHHHHHH!" It's from the crystal temple. I run as fast as I can to the temple.
"Sounds like Peridot. PERIDOT!?" I call out.
I find her being carried by Lion on the shore.
"Lion!" I exclaim and he sits. Peridot gets off dizzily.
I catch her. "Hey, are you alright?"
"Y-Y-Yeah!" Peridot exclaims. "I'm just dizzy."
I laugh. "I'll bring you back to the temple." I fetch Lion the donut I was eating. I still love him.
I'm helping Peridot sit on the couch.
"You should rest, actually, you could just stay here, not in the bathroom." I offer.
"Okay. Thanks, Steven." She says and blushes.
"You're blushing! So cuuuuuute." I exclaim and sits beside Peridot.
"I-I'm not!" She pushes me and blushes harder.
"You're just so cute I could squeeze you." I say and I hug her.
"Too tight!" She exclaims.
"Sorry!" I chuckle.
I yawn. "I'm tired."
"Uh, what did you just do?" Peridot asks.
"I yawned. It's what we do when we're tired, and what I mean by 'we' is the humans." I explain.
"Okay."
Silence filled the atmosphere. "Uh.."
"I've been willing to ask you, can you watch Camp Pining hearts with me?" Peridot asks. "But you're tired, so, never mind."
I knew it, she felt lonely when I went out.
"No! It's okay, I'll watch with you! Finally!" I exclaim.
"Finally?" She confusedly asks.
I talk too loud, AGH!
"N-Nothing!" I exclaim and my face reddens. "Let's just watch Camp Pining hearts."
Oh no, she'll notice!
Hold on, notice what?
"Okay." Peridot says as she tries to hide the blush.
