A/N 07/31/18
~I wrote this when I was in sixth grade, 11 years old. This is the very first story I published in this account. Take note that when I first wrote this, I was a beginner, I had no stock knowledge about writing,and I had no experience. The later chapters (Chapters 30+) are the time where I understood how to write properly, how to keep the story intresting, etc. I'm sorry if the first chapters have errors, or it's kind of "cringy" or something. Okay, you can proceed to reading. Enjoy. :)
Peridot's P.O.V:
I lie down on a 'bathtub', like what humans call, AGH WHY IS IT SO SLIPPERY!?
I slip and
BANG
I bang my head on the bathtub. "OW!"
I groan, "It hurt!"
I check on the object that reflects what's in front of it, or what Steven calls, a mirror. I sigh in relief. At least my gem didn't crack.
Everything on Earth seems rather confusing, gravity connectors are called 'legs'? Funny, but it's much easier to call the gravity connectors legs.
Why am I so fragile? I'm the weakest among the crystal gems. What would they think about me? They would-
Knock, knock, knock.
"Peridot, I have to use the bathroom!" Steven exclaimed. "Hurry!"
I jump out and unlock it with furrowed eyebrow.
"Sorry to disturb you but I really need to pee!" Steven chuckles.
"It's fine." I insist.
He sits down on that spherical portal, agh, whatever the humans call it.
He looks at me awkwardly.
"Uh, Peridot, can you look away please?" Steven asks.
"Oh! Yeah, right!" I exclaim and look away.
I forgot humans need privacy when they pee.
This is taking too long.. "Steven, are you done?!" I ask impatiently.
"Not yet!" Steven chuckles. What is it with humans 'peeing'!?
I sigh. I guess I could try being patient.
"Hold on, I thought humans pee fast? How come you're so slow?" I ask.
"Umm, I'm pooping." Steven said.
"Pooping?" I ask and turn around.
"WAIT WAIT WAIT WAI-"
"OH MY STARS I'M SO SORRY!" I exclaim and look away , embarrassed, I face palm.
"At least I covered my private part." Steven says. He sounds so serious.
"Sorry." I apologize once again.
"It's alright!" Steven says. He then flushed the spherical portal. At least, he sounds more fine.
"You can turn around now, I'm gonna go meet Connie at the big donut." Steven says. What's Connie!?
"What's... A Connie?" I ask.
"Not 'what', 'WHO'." He points out.
"Okay, okay, can you tell me who that is?" I ask.
"She's a friend of mine, well, best friend." Steven says.
"Alright." I reply.
Hold on, SHE!?
Why am I panicking inside my mind?
"Okay, I'm gonna go now, see ya dot!" Steven waves me goodbye and goes away.
I lock the door and think, who could that Connie be?
