Peridot's P.O.V:
"What do you have in there?" I ask. Steven's father is being a little creepy.
"That's something you should know." He replies. I notice that he's wearing a tuxedo, with black shoes.
"You're being a... kinda... creepy." I comment, it's true and I have to say it.
"Oh? Jeez." He rubs the back of his head and chuckles sheepishly. "Sorry about that!"
I nod and I start to open the barn's door, there are lights on and a note below me. I pick it up.
Open the back door!
My heart starts to pound, somehow, I open the back door. I gasp and I see....
Many light posts, and those green things with flowers on them. Bushes? A red carpet line and Amethyst beside me?
"Gah!" I block my hands to defend myself, scared because of Amethyst.
"Jeez Peri, it's just me." Amethyst laughs. I shrug.
"You did scare me."
"Yeah sure now go to this straight red line and follow it, look for the end of it." Amethyst says and points at the red line.
"Affirmative." I start following the path, I take a right curve to continue following the path. I look down to see where I'm going. There are butterflies, those are butterflies as what Steven told me.
The red line stops, I look up and I see Ruby and Sapphire.
"Hey!" Ruby says and waves at me with a smile.
"Hi?" I reply. "What am I here for?"
Sapphire creates ice from her hands and makes it float into the air, it creates an arrow pointing to somewhere. Ruby uses fire and creates a heart shaped figure above the ice arrow.
"Okay?" I say and I go past through them, a heart and an arrow.. What is this about? I hear laughing behind me, I whip to see Garnet, already fused.
Garnet nods. I continue to follow the carpet, it is the end of the line. It has a yellow ribbon on a giant bush.
I grab it and I examine it. Nope, just a regular bow. I go through the bush and my eyes widens, butterflies everywhere and flowers, beautiful lights and..
Steven!
Steven's on a tuxedo, just like Greg.
"Hey Peri!" Steven waves at me and smiles. He looks.. charming.
I blush. "What is this?"
Steven walks up to me and bends down on one knee.
He holds my hand and looks me straight into the eye, I blush like crazy as I try to say something.
"Peridot, will you be my girlfriend?" Steven asks me and I stiffen, I blush, looking at his eyes, his eyes are filled with hope.
"Yes!" I reply with enthusiasm. He smiles and blushes, he stands up with happiness and hugs me. He carries me and spins me around.
I laugh and I hug back. I am used to this feeling! It's like the old Peridot is slowly dying, the ruthless, coldblooded one!
"Yeah!" Steven punches his fist into the air. "I love you, Peridot!"
"Wow, thanks. Me too!" I reply.
Greg's P.O.V:
A tear of proudness comes from my eye and I wipe it. "I'm so proud." The gems and I are spying through a bush. Seeing Peridot and Steven happy.
"Me too." Pearl smiles.
"Stevidot forevs." Amethyst comments and laughs.
"I'm so proud of Steven experiencing love." Garnet says.
I continue to watch them two dancing to the beat I gave them. It is good and catchy. "Do you think we should join them?"
"Yeah!" Amethyst exclaims and hops off. "Heya dudes!"
"Amethyst! Hey!" Steven waves at Amethyst and the rest of us.
Steven's P.O.V:
We're all dancing, I twirl Peridot and I create random dance moves, she makes up one, too. I grab her hand and I dip her. I playfully wink and I twirl her again.
"Having fun, Peri?" I ask.
"Yeah!" She exclaims and she grabs my hand. I pull her towards me. We both blush.
This night is going to be awesome with the gems and dad!
