Steven's P.O.V:

"Alright, I'll play it!" I exclaim happily.

"R-Really?" She asks.

"Of course you little slice of pie!" I reply and hug her.

"I'm not a pie.." She says. "Oh! I remember humans have words that has double meanings."

"And it means you're adorable." I continue and walk away to get my ukelele.

I think about the argument Peridot and Connie had. It wasn't what I expected at all, Connie really needs to learn more about her. What should I say to Connie when we meet again?

I can see my ukelele and I grab it. "Gotcha!"

I walk away and I find Peridot outside. Is she looking for me?

I can see how beautiful she is when she starts the fire. When and how did she learn to make a campfire? Oh, Camp Pining hearts.

"Hey Dot!" I exclaim and I run to her. "I got my ukelele."

"Let's sit." Peridot says and sits down.

I strum a string. "What do you want me to play?"

"Uh.. The tune of the song you sang with me." Peridot says.

I recall the time where Peridot and I sang a song I wrote. Peace and Love on the Planet Earth. I blush and chuckle.

"Alright."

I start playing the song.

Peridot listens to me and clicks her fingers to the beat. I blush and play more.

I finish.

"Cool, got any more songs?" She asks.

I blush. "Y-Y-Yeah!"

Oh my, I'm gonna play this song.

"Why are you blushing?" She asks.

"Nothing! Hehe." I try to cover up.

I start strumming and singing.

I blush. "I've been working on this one!"

"Nice! What was the song talking about though?" She asks.

"Someone I know and love. Actually, I'm in love with that person" I say and blush harder.

Shut up Steven!

"Okay. Who exactly?" She tries to smirk. Can't tell if it's a fake smirk.

I chuckle sheepishly. "Uh, well.."

"HEYO LOVEBIRDS!"

We both turn around. I see Peridot blushing and I can feel myself blushing as well.

"Aww, look at you two. I'll give ya some privacy so you guys can have a romantic moment." Amethyst laughs and walks away.

I blush even harder. "Sh-She's gone now!"

I stand up. "L-Let's go to the temple! I'm sure Garnet and Pearl are here." I quickly say.

I make things harder. Sigh. It's a thing of mine.

"Okay?" Peridot agrees.

We walk together and I open the door. The temple is empty. Where could they be?

"ROAAAAAR!"

"GAH!" Peridot exclaims and clings onto me.

I summon my shield and grunt. "Amethyst!" She was on a baby T-Rex form. Why would she do that? She's Amethyst! She always does that.

She transforms to her normal self and laughs. "Oh, look at Peridot."

Peridot blushes and jumps off me.

"Sorry, I got nothing to do today. I'll leave ya, PEACE!" She says and flies away with a bird form.

Peridot blushes harder. She's just probably scared.

"She's gone now!" I laugh.

"Steven.."

"Yeah, Peri?"

"I want to ask you something."
