Peridot's P.O.V:
I grab my recorder and I press the button to record.
"Log date 7 61 1. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I actually fused with Steven!" I lower my voice and chuckle. "It's quite an experience to fuse with someone. He has shown me how it feels like to be a fusion. It may be confusing at first but you'll get to know better of it. I'm thankful.
Peridot."
I press the recorder to stop recording and I hide it behind the toilet where no one can see it.
I go outside and I see Steven peacefully resting his body. I chuckle. He must be really tired. "Night, Steven."
I should go outside. I reach my hand to the doorknob. Wait, no, I don't wanna get stabbed again. I pull back my hand. Eh, what should I do?
I climb up the stairs and I sit on Steven's bed, carefully, so he doesn't wake up from his slumber.
CRASH!
"Eep!" I take my alien plushy and I hug it. The rain has started. Oh boy.
"Peri?" Steven yawns. "What are you-"
CRASH!
I suddenly hug Steven. Closing my eyes, hoping it'll go away. I open my left eye, looking at the smiling Steven. I blush and I let go of him. I chuckle sheepishly as I brush my hair.
The rain drops harder. It irritates my ears. I see white flashing light from the sky. "What was that!?"
"That was lightning." Steven points out. "Better cover your ears." He covers his ears using his finger.
I cover mine using my palm. Hoping-
CRASH!
"When will this stop!?" I growl. Steven looks at the trees, waving violently.
"Looks like there's a storm." Steven says.
"Storm?" I ask. "What is storm?"
"Storm is a violent disturbance of the atmosphere with strong winds and usually rain, thunder, lightning, or snow." Steven points out.
"Oh.. How could you sleep on a weather like this?" I ask, seeing Steven in an energetic mood.
"Well.. I can't but I'm not really sleepy." Steven shrugs and looks outside. "The storm is really violent tonight."
"Agreed." I reply. I look outside with him.
CRASH!
I cling onto Steven again. Steven looks at me and chuckles, I can't let go of his arms.
"Peri you can stay with me if you want to. We can-"
A rock flies to us, the glass breaks and Steven covers me with his shield.
"Okay, who did that!?" I growl outside. Looking at nothing at all.
"People are like this nowadays. But here in beach city, that'd be rare." Steven says. "WHO DID THAT?" He calls out from the outside.
"Yeah! Stop you CLODS!" I add and I point to nothing.
A rock flies again and it hits my gem. "M-My gem.."
"Peridot!" Steven exclaims. He clutches his fists and growls. "I'm coming for you!" He growls outside.
He goes outside as I touch my gem. It isn't cracked or anything.
Steven's P.O.V:
I summon my shield to cover myself from the violent rain. I go outside where the rock came from.
"Come out!" I call out. "Or you're gonna have to deal with the gems!"
I hear laughing. It's a boy's laugh and it doesn't seem familiar to me. A rock flies to me and I block it with my shield. I growl. "Hitting my Peridot won't be as easy as you think when I'm around!" I blush after what I said, 'MY PERIDOT'.
"Peridot, Peridot, Peridot. Blah blah." A boy's voice mocks me. "That little green freak."
"Just come out and we'll have a real battle." I say.
"Nah." It replies. "Gotta go home. Chao."
"Yeah! Get the heck OUTTA HERE!" I growl and I cover myself again. I go back inside and I cough.
"What happened!?" Peridot asks.
"Well." I cough. "I encountered a-" I sniff and cough. "S-S."
"What was that?" Peridot asks again.
I climb up the stairs as I cough. I sit down on the bed. "Sorry, it's nothing really. He's gone now." I smile.
CRASH!
Peridot clings onto me again.
"Peridot, it's fine." I laugh. "It's just thunder."
"Fine." She blushes and crosses her arms.
"There goes the cute little pie." I mumble.
I wonder who that person would be.. The boy who hit Peridot hard in the head. No one hurts my Peridot.
"So.. When is the rain gonna stop?" Peridot asks.
"I don't know." I reply, she sighs disappointedly.
Zachary's P.O.V:
Damn, I actually hit Peridot right in the head!
Wait, what's that glowing light from a ship?
A big orange woman with grey long hair comes out, funny. It looks at me and marches towards me.
"Human, do you have any information about Peridot Facet-2F5L Cut-5XG?" It asks me.
"I don't know who that is, weird lady, but I know a Peridot." I smirk at its silliness.
She picks me up and summons some sort of helmet from her head. "Look, human, it's Jasper and can you freaking tell me where this Peridot is?!"
I start to sweat. "I-In that house, J-Jasper.." I point to her home.
She puts me down. I sigh.
Peridot's P.O.V:
"That ship.." I say, pulling Steven close to me.
"What is that? And is THAT.."
"JASPER!" I exclaim.
