Peridot's P.O.V:
~The next day~
I sit on the couch inside the crystal temple. Thinking..
I thought Connie was sweet. Guess she isn't. She THREATENED me! I don't want to shatter, ugh, if I tell Steven, he'll probably freak out and go to Connie. Then I'll die.
I hear a yawn.. I stand up and turn around to Steven.
"Good morning Peridot." He sleepily says and yawns again.
"Good morning Steven." I reply. Let me guess, breakfast?
"I gotta pee." He says and walks down the stairs, onto the bathroom.
My prediction is wrong.
"Dut, dut!"
I turn around to see Steven's touchscreen device. I hold it up.
Swipe to unlock
I swipe it from left to right and it unlocks.

The message shows up. Wow, amazing technology.
7:46 A.M
Connie
Hey Steven! Don't forget about tonight 😉
I put it down. Hoping Steven doesn't notice. What will Steven and Connie do tonight?
I imagine them dating.
Having fun.
Admitting each other's feelings..
I shake my head. NO!
Shut up, brain!
I hear the doorknob click. "I'm done!" He exclaims, happily.
I sweat. "Steven do you have anything to attend to?"
"Hmm.. Yeah!" He clicks his fingers. "I'm gonna go to Funland tonight, I heard I'm unbanned from Funland!"
"Funland? Sounds interesting." I comment.
"I have an idea, come with me and tonight, I'll show you Funland, it's very fun." Steven says.
Yes! "Sure."
"Alright! You're gonna have so much fun!" Steven exclaims and walks outside. I follow him and he jumps. Noticing that Steven is not around my radius, I look up and I gasp.
My eyes widens. "What the.."
Steven is floating!?
"I'm floating again!" Steven laughs.
"You can float!?" I ask, I really am surprised.
"Yeah, I can float whenever I'm happy, when I'm angry or sad, I'll fall." He says. "I'll land less than a minute."
"You really are special." I mumble.
"What?" He asks, wanting to hear what I mumbled.
"Nothing!" I exclaim and my face turns dark green.
Soon enough, he lands on his feet. "So, wanna do something?"
"I don't know." I reply, not meeting his face.
"Is there anything wrong?" Steven asks.
I blush. "Nothing." I sigh.
"I think there is." Steven says.
"I'm just tired.. That's all." I sigh.
"I'm gonna go back in." Steven says. "Remember, Peridot, you can tell me anything." Then he goes back inside.
I sigh. Should I tell him? I mean, he's really happy today and I'm gonna spoil his day? Not the best timing to tell him.
"Hello Peridot." A familiar voice says.
"Hi Pearl." I turn around.
"Steven says that you seem to have a problem, but you won't tell him." Pearl says.
"It's nothing, really!" I exclaim and I start to sweat.
She taps her foot.
"Fine. Don't tell anyone, especially Steven." I give up.
"So, what is it?" Pearl asks.
"Connie told me to stay away from Steven, and if I report to Steven everything that happened, she'll shatter me." I say and I cross my arms.
"How could she shatter you?" Pearl asks in confusion.
"With Steven's mom's sword." I reply.
"She has Rose's sword!?" Pearl quietly freaks out.
"Yes, and she's gonna kill me when I report to him, literally."
"I thought Connie was such a sweetheart, how come she said that to you?" Pearl asks.
"I don't really know, to be honest." I shrug. "Don't tell Steven, alright?"
"I promise. Cross my heart and I hope to die." Pearl says.
She wants to die?
"You want to die?" I ask.
"No, silly! It was just an expression to attest to the truth of something; solemnly assure someone that the truth has been spoken."
Pearl explains.
"Oh. Thanks for listening, you can go now." I offer and I think further..
She goes back in.
