I noticed that she closed her eyes.

"It started after i walked out from a birthday party of my ... friend. It was my most embarrasing moment at that day. When I went home, I went fast at my room. Locked myself there for many weeks. Then one day, I woke up that there's no air in my room. I can't breathe. I can't feel the beat of my broken heart. I stand up from my bed to catch air from outside but instead I felt dizzy and I collapsed. I woke up that I'm in a hospital. I saw my mom crying. She told me na hindi daw matanto ng mga doctor yung sakit ko. So, she planned that she will take me to America. Doon sa America, mom brought me to a hospital where professional doctors were. They observed me and said that i'm having a different heart cancer. I asked them 'What causes me to have this kind of cancer?'. They answered me that I have less sleep, less food, staying at room with less air and stress. And I realized that i was killing myself after i walked-out from that party. After consulting at America, we went back at this country and everything is normal. My heartbeat is fine. I keep eating healthy food. I exercised myself every morning. I feel like I'm a normal girl again. But NOW! Someone hides my medicine. Because of that, all of my symptoms appeared inside me. Dizzying, breathing hard, blurrying eyes and lower heart rate. At ngayon na lumala na, may magagawa paba kayo? Malay niyo, nasa morgue nako mamaya."

Natulala ako sa mga sinabi niya kung paano siya nagkaroon ng cancer. Kung paano siya nagmukmok pagkauwi niya galing sa party. It was all because of me. Hindi ko sinadyang gawin sa kanya yun. I am so guilty.

If it wasn't from that fucking dare, hindi mangyayari sa kanya to.

Yeah, mga pinsan ko ang nagdare sakin. Kung sino daw ang unang magbibigay ng regalo sakin, ipahiya ko daw sa mga bisita ko.

I didn't expect that she will be the first person who will give me a gift. When I saw her approaching to me, I look at my cousins.

"I can't do the dare to her." I said to them.

"And Why?"

"Because .. she's a very kind person to me. I cant just make her embarrased infront of my visitors."

They grin.

"Whether it's kind or not, you will still do the dare or else I would be the one who's gonna do it for you."

"FINE!"

Ako nalang ang gagawa. Kilala ko kung gaano kasama ang mga pinsan ko. Maaaring dare lang yun pag ginawa nila, pero minsan sineseryoso din nila.

"Uhmm, Trav. Happ---"

Tinabig ko yung regalo na ibibigay niya sakin na ikinagulat niya.

"CAN YOU STOP FOLLOWING ME? YOU ARE DISTRACTING ME. YOU ARE JUST AN UGLY NERD GIRL. I DON'T LIKE YOU AND PLEASE STOP GIVING GIFTS TO ME. YOU ARE JUST GIVING ME CHEAP GIFTS." then I walk out. Sinipa ko yung white table kung saan nakaserve yung mga pagkain. I can hear everyone's whisper.

I AM SO FVCKING GUILTY!!

Pagkatapos ng tatlong linggong di niya pagpasok, ang daming nagbubulungan sa campus namin.

"Grabe, girl. Ang ganda niya. Gusto ko nga malaman yung pangalan niya."

"Me, too. Fashionista ang dating kaso ang maldita lang."

"Oo nga eh. Biruin mo. Pinahiya niya sila Stella."

"Oo nga eh. Wala manlang siyang takot sa kanila."
