You were walking to your after-school job at a bookstore near Maji Burger. Honestly, the job paid well, but the only reason the store did well was because of the crowd Maji Burger brought.
Because there were only a few regulars, you could immediately tell who the new customers were, and were always willing to get to know them better. This was especially true when you finally met Kagami Taiga.
You had heard about him, and seen him around school a few times, but you'd never had the chance to look at him closely. Your chance finally arrived when you saw Kuroko and Kagami leaving Maji Burger. You were only able to look up for a second due to the amount of organizing the books required.
Kagami opened the door with more force than required, and you looked up again and glared sharply be fore greeting Kuroko. "Konnichiwa, Kuroko-chan!"
"Konnichiwa, (L/N)-san. Kagami-kun and I were looking for a birthday gift for a friend of ours, so we thought of coming here," Kuroko explained. He looked around, and found Kagami trying to pull something from a high shelf. Kuroko jerked Kagami's arm away, and pushed him towards you while you giggled lightly from their antics. "I'm going to see if there's anything here that he would show interest in. You make yourself busy,"
Kuroko left. You knew you didn't have to direct him on where anything was, because he was one of the few regulars here; you always had his favourite short novel series in stock. Now, time for you to see what Kagami wants.
"Ano, what's your name? I've seen you around Seirin a few times,"
"Hai, I attend Seirin as well as a first year. My name is (L/N) (F/N),"
"Ah, I'm Kagami Taiga," he responded with confidence. You wanted to face palm due to his amount of confidence. You were so glad he knew his own name.
Sighing instead, you said, "I know Kagami-chan, nearly everyone knows your name,"
"Oh," he trailed off. A faint blush gathered on his cheeks and really clashed with his hair, making him a tomato. You decided to tell him that.
"O-Oi! I do not! And you look...I don't know...like an office worker??" He tried to retort.
"No dip Sherlock. I work at a bookstore," you rolled your eyes and he blushed again. Therefore, you teased him again.
The two of you didn't notice that Kuroko had left without buying anything. Kagami soon became a regular at not only the store, but your house as well... ;)

This one shot was REALLY short for my writing standards of one shots, and I wanted to see how other authors can do it and get the information across. Not too happy with it I guess...
