HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHINTAROOT!!! II Midorima x Reader

Okay, to celebrate, this is how you would celebrate his birthday...

Midorima

You awoke and got dressed. It was a simple outfit, consisting of your favourite clothes (just imagine it). You had been planning this day for a while now, and felt confident now that it had arrived.

You had already informed your best friend's teammates that you wanted to hold a party, and they were more than willing. They had promised to bring balloons and decorations, and required you to bring a cake. You had made the cake the night before (after having flour explode everywhere, your pet cat get mixed into the batter, the fridge somehow falling, and melting the cake pan).

You left for school half an hour earlier than you normally did. You needed to make sure that you avoided Midorima so he wouldn't get suspicious. You also needed to find Takao before he did something stupid and ruined the surprise. After all, you wanted it to be perfect for your crush...

Heading to the gym, you found that the place had been decorated already with a simple set of decorations, and Miyaji had ensured that everyone was calm. You set the cake down, and said, "Thank you guys so much for going along with this. I really hope Shin-chan enjoys it!"

"Of course. Your love~ has to be treated perfectly," teases Takao. The whole team had found out you like Midorima, and they all have you hell for it.

A faint blush dusted your cheeks. "U-Urasai. I'm calling him now,"

You take out your phone and call Midorima up. "Tell me how my acting skills are after this," you whisper loudly enough for everyone to hear as the phone rings.

Midorima picks up, and hastily says, "What do you want, nanodayo. I hope you realize how early it is,"

Making sure that it sounded as if you were on the verge of crying, you said, "S-S-Shin-chan, I REALLY need to talk to you now. I need to do this, otherwise I may not get to for a long time."

"W-What is it? A-A-Are you c-crying?"

"I'm leaving Shin-chan. I'm so sorry,"

"...I-I'll be at the school in less than 5 minutes. Be there," his voice nearly cracked at the end, and you felt so bad about it, but it was needed.

After the call ended, Takao started clapping and whistling. "Well, (N/N)-chan, you should be an actress. I feel really bad for him now,"

"Hurry up and dim the lights and make sure very things perfect. He'll be here in a few minutes. HIDE!"

As everyone is running around and doing last minute changes, you decide to have a little fun. You sit on the bleachers and have your hair cover your face. The lights were dimmed, and you heard the gym doors crash open, making you wince.

And there stood Midorima. He wasn't even carrying his hamburger, which you had heard was his lucky item for today (it actually is). He looked a disheveled mess, with his uniform barely on and his hair not combed. The tapes on his fingers were crumpled, as if they'd been worn for too long. This was proven by the fact that they were unwinding from his narrow fingers.

Midorima panted, and you felt another wave of guilt pass through you as you heard a jagged breath. Was he crying?

Midorima stood for a few seconds at the door, before nearly screaming, "I REALLY DON'T WANT YOU TO LEAVE! I-I l-love you,nanodayo,"

He really was crying. His voice had broken in many places, and you decided to put him out of his misery. You ran up to him, and kissed him squarely on the lips.

Surprisingly, he deepened it and you softly moaned. You needed to get a better angle, so you put your arms around his neck, while his gripped your waist.

Ahem

Fuck, you'd forgotten where you were.

"Are you two lovebirds done? We do have a surprise party to attend to," Takao nearly yelled. Midorima turned around and glared at you. You sheepishly smiled back.

Nervously chuckling, you tried to explain, "Eto, I'm not leaving... HAPPY BIRThday?"

Midorima sighed and just hugged you. "Arigato, minna," he said to everyone.

In your ear he just said, " You're lucky I love you. I'll deal with you later,"

And my, you really did 'hate' your punishment.
