Kise 'plays' the recorder, but he is absolutely terrible at it. He's screechy, can't play the right notes, and it sounds like he's trying, which makes it even funnier. All the GoM want to watch him play, but they can't because they know they would start laughing and offend Kise.
So they have Kise videotape his practice sessions and send it to them, and they laugh at it without Kise.
(It's a pretty good system...)
