I don't have time to write a oneshot or something from him, so I'll postpone until a later date (because I have Christmas break soon) and write it.
Until then:
Akashi hates surprises. So, he secretly pays Kuroko to tell him what's happening in the Generation of Miracles, and already knew about the party.
Actually, he started crying because he had a midlife crisis in the middle of the party, and Aomine panicked because Akaashi isn't even in his late twenties yet.
(Kagami thought that it meant that Akashi was dying, and that he'd only live for about 20 more years, and now he and Aomine are planning the funeral service. Akashi also has found out about that.)
And there were gifts, and Kuroko, being the thoughtful angel he is, bought a Pandora bracelet for Akashi because it is something he will treasure forever.
(It's actually just a way for Kuroko to chicken out of buying creative gifts for Akashi. Akashi does not know this because Kuroko will never tell him.)
