Chapter 34: Double Date

I dedicated this chapter to Ryder Olivier Blanco HAHAHA belated happy birthday (last July 5)! He's back with his POV yay it's been a long time!

RYDER

I'm here at the front of a building to Harmony's unit because I asked her for a date. Sinabi nya na mas gusto nya na mag-foodtrip na lang sa bahay kaya heto ako at may bitbit na pagkain at ilang drinks.

The elevator stopped at 9th floor at nakangiti akong lumabas at pinindot ang doorbell.

"Hi, Ry." Isang nakangiting Dyosa ang sumalubong sa'kin.

Natulala pa ako pagkakita sa kanya. She's wearing a white shirt, a not so short shorts, no make up and her hair's a bit messy yet she looked so sexy.

"H-hey. I just thought I saw a Goddess." I grinned.

"Thanks for the compliment. Well, my second name's Theia so I'm indeed one of the Goddesses. Come in." Niluwagan naman nya ang pinto.

Namangha agad ako pagkapasok sa unit nya. Maaliwalas ang living room na may nakahiwalay na pader sa gitna dahil nasa left side ang receiving room. May flat screen TV sa gitna at 2 aircon sa magkabilang gilid ng pader. May nakita rin akong 2 pinto, bedrooms I assumed.

"You live here alone?" I asked pagkalapag ko ng mga dala ko sa center table.

"Pinag-day off ko muna si Manang, besides hindi naman tayo magkakalat kaya kayang-kaya nating maglinis mamaya. Wanna get a tour at my humble unit?"

"Sure."

Una nyang binuksan ang pinto malapit sa living room that turned out to be her room. The next door is his brother's room na bihira namang umuwi dahil sa abroad nagtitigil with his crew. Dancer pala ang kuya nya, naalala ko tuloy si Achilles na kinakapatid ni Ainsley. Baka nakakasama na rin nya ang kuya ni Harmony.

There are two bathrooms, the other one is for the guest. Ipinakita rin nya ang kwarto ng kasambahay nya. we headed to the kitchen. Nagutom tuloy ako sa amoy ng home made pizza na nakasalang. There's another room na nagmukhang storage room dahil sa mga gamit sa loob. Lastly, ang master's bedroom na may sariling bathroom sa loob.

"Ganda ng unit mo. Buti hindi ka naiinip mag-stay sa ganito kalaking tirahan?"

"It's okay. I'm a home buddy. Besides sa US naman ako nagtigil ng ilang taon at palagi lang din akong nasa bagay."

Sabay pa kaming napatingin sa kusina dahil sa tunog ng timer.

"Pizza's ready. Just right on time."

"Nakakagutom nga ang amoy. Mukhang masarap din."

"Of course! Ako yata ang gumawa." Sinimulan na nyang hatiin ang puzza into 8 parts.

"Lots of cheese. I like that." I grinned at her.

"We have the same taste, Ry. I love loads of cheese in my pizza. Here." She gave me a plate with two large pizzas.

Binitbit na rin namin ang pinaglalagyan ng pizza sa may living room.

"Sarap! Pwede ka nang mag-asawa." Pagbibiro ko sa kanya habang ngumunguya.

"Wala pang magkamali." Natatawa tuloy siya havang inilalabas sa plastic ang canned drinks na dala ko. Inilagay nya ito sa tray.

"Sa ganda mong 'yan? Bulag na yata ang mga kabaro ko."

"Siguro nga." And we both laughed.

Naubos ko agad ang dalawang pizza. "Can I have another one? Sarap kasi."

"Sure. Tayo lang naman ang uubos nyan."

"Thanks. By the way, I brought some donuts."

"My favorite! Gee thanks!" She smiled widely while opening the box.

Sa halip na manuod ng TV, we decided to play some music instead.

"You know what? First time ko sa ganitong date. My bestfriend and I used to hang out in her house pero never pa akong nakipag-date sa bahay nang may bahay. This is indeed a first to me."

"Should I consider myself lucky that I invited you here?"

"Yeah. Salamat. Shall we dance?" Paramore's The Only Exception is currently playing.

"Sure."

She held my hand while my other hand gripped her waist. We dance without breaking eye contact.

"You're a good dancer. Nagmana ka siguro sa kuya mo."

"It runs in the family." She giggled as I make her took a turn.

"Cool. Wanna meet your parents."

"That fast? I'll informed you kapag naisipan nilang magbakasyon sa Pilipinas."

Naikot na namin ang buong living room habang nagsasayaw. Nang matapos ang kanta, niyaya ako ni Harmony sa may balcony.

"Ryder, I want to tell you sonething..."

ACHILLES

"Nice choice of place." Alexandrea smiled at me as we went inside E.R.R.O.R.

"Ryder recommended this to me. Have you been here before?"

"Actually, it's my first time although kakilala ko ang owner nito. Bestfriend kasi ng pinsan ko ang pinsan ng owner."

"Hey, Alex! Finally at nakapunta ka na sa resto bar ko." May lumapit sa'ming babae na mukhang living Pucca dahil sa ayos ng buhok nya pati sa suot nya.

"Good to see you here, CL. Buti at naabutan kita na nagmamanage ngayon. By the way, this is Achilles. Achi, meet CL Dualan, the owner of this resto bar."

"Nice to meet you." I smiled as we shook hands.

"Wait. You're the famous Achilles Severano! I'm a fan! It's an honor to meet you!"

"Same here. I saw your vlog from my godsister Ainsley."

"Kayong dalawa talaga ni Alex ang paborito kong dancer. Can we take a picture? Pa-autograph na rin."

"Sure."

Pagkatapos ng picture taking at autograph signing at iniwan na kami ni CL. Siya na raw mismo ang bahala sa food namin. She even teased na bagay raw kami ni Alex.

"She's so bubbly." I grinned at Alex.

"Yup! Alam mo ba na may bestfriend siya at pareho sila ng pangalan? Courtney Love pero Lyric naman ang petname ng bff nya."

"Cool! I bet she's a rocker. Siya yata ang napanuod ko na nagperform dito sa E.R.R.O.R. sa isa sa vid ni CL sa Youtube channel nya."

"I think so. Magaling din daw kumanta ang bff nya at marunong tumugtog ng gitara."

After 15 minutes, bumalik na si CL kasama ang 2 waiters na may dalang tray ng pagkain namin."

"Enjoy your meal, you two. Free of charge. Next time na ang bayad, okay? Happy eating!"

"Wow, these foods are mouth watering! Thanks, CL!" Alex beamed.

"Let's eat?"

"Sure!"
