Forgetting your birthday

Due to their busy schedule, they get dates confused and forget your birthday.

You would watch a music show or a drama on the TV the moment Hoseok comes home. You turn around at him, smiling at him and welcoming him home as always. He would reply back happily at the sight of you but his smile would freeze once he sees all those packages around the room. These were the presents you got from your family and friends during the day. "What's wrong?" you would ask him worried, standing up and coming over to him. "I totally forgot about your birthday," he would say in a small voice, raising his teary eyes to you. "I'm a horrible person," he would whine while his tears start streaming down his cheeks. You would wipe his tears away with a tissue before taking his big hands into yours and smiling widely. "It's okay. I got some presents but you're the best of them, so don't worry. I don't need anything else as long as I have you." He would cry, completely touched by what you said, take you into a hug and promising to take you out the next day and make the best date you've ever had.

Yoongi would come home, tired after the whole day. After he closes the door, he would prepare to call at you he's home but then he hears your lovable voice from the kitchen: "Thanks, mom. It's nice you remembered my birthday..." He would freeze upon hearing those words, checking the date on his phone. You're right. You got birthday today. He totally forgot. While you're talking to your mother, he would reconsider all his possibilities before setting down telling you would be the best option. He knows you would understand. Once you end your call, he would step into the kitchen with a guilty look on his face. "What happened, Yoongi?" you would ask as soon as you see his face. "I forgot about your birthday," he would say honestly. "I got a lot of work lately. I know you have birthday around now but didn't know it's today. I'm sorry." You would smile and kiss his cheek, leaving him confused. "It's okay. I love you anyway." He would smile before suggesting to go to the bed to cuddle.

As soon as Namjoon would step into your apartment, he would know something is off. He wouldn't know what it is until he saw a big birthday card from your friend. He would stop in the middle of a step, looking at the card with a sad face. You would probably find him like this, standing in the middle of the living room. Bringing his attention to you, you would say loudly: "Welcome home, dear. How was your day?", completely oblivious to the fact he forgot. Once he turned to you, you would know something happened. You would come closer to him, taking his hand with a questioning look. "I forgot about your birthday," he would sigh, running his hand over his face. "I'm really sorry, jagi. Nothing can excuse my mistake." You would caress his cheek and smile at him. "It's okay. We can celebrate when you have time. Don't get stressed over it. I'm not mad, okay?" He would smile at you in relief, before taking you into a big hug while thanking you for being you and understanding his situation, promising to take you out as soon as their promotions are over.

Jimin would react similar to Hoseok, just with less crying. He would stand in the middle of the room like a child waiting to get scolded. Even if you tell him it doesn't matter, he would apologize so many times you would have to slap his arm to get him shut up. Seeing how sad he is though, you would pull him down on the sofa, getting him to cuddle with you. "Now cuddle with me and if you still feel bad, you can get something to me when you have less work to do, okay? Now focus on your promotions."

Jungkook would get very disappointed about himself, taking it as a big failure from him. He cherishes you with his heart and thinks about you the whole day, so how could he forget about such an important day as this? Ignoring your attempts to make him feel better, he would close himself up in his room before bringing you a handmade, coloured gift card with childish pictures of you and him. He would shyly give it to you and watch carefully your reaction which would be very positive. Moved by his actions, you would pull this poor shy boy into a big hug, thanking him with a big kiss, leaving him completely shocked, but it would really warm his heart.

Seokjin wouldn't forget about your birthday. He would have this day marked, highlighted and coloured in his calendar several days in advance, a big and awesome present prepared because he would never forget about anything like this. Bye.

Taehyung would get sad and disappointed about the fact he forgot such important day as this. He had a big image of what it should look like but got the dates confused and ended up forgetting it. He would come to you and sincerely apologize, giving you his sad puppy look. You would reassure him it's alright and as soon as he would accept it, his face would brighten up and even if he was tired to death, he would suggest: "Let's go out, jagi! We'll eat icecream, take a nice walk and you'll choose your present on the way, okay? Come on, take your jacket and let's go!"
