A/N: Everyone should be respected

Hello everyone and welcome to another rant of auntie Rin.

As all of you already know, important to idols' fame and success are fans. Their fans make them grow, make them known, make them successful, make them who they are — BUT that gives them or no one else the right to control their lives. No matter what job a person does, they deserve respect, privacy and personal space. And fans and delulus that ignore this simple but strict fact are making me so angry right now.

How do you feel about this?

Because you, my dear friend, whoever and wherever you are, made my boys insecure about their choices and decisions which is WRONG. These beautiful and talented boys are ADULT and are CAPABLE of making decisions THEMSELVES.

Please, if you don't like the way they are dressing up, what accessories, filters and movies they like, what noises are specific for them, what their personalities and looks are like, please leave or shut up. You have no right to tell them what to do.

You can tell a person hundred times how good and great they are but one single negative, stupid comment might be stronger than all the positive ones. And as you can see, this is a good example.

Please, I'm begging you, let them wear and like whatever they want. If Hobi likes making sound effects to everything he does, he should make them. If Namjoon likes filters on his VLive, he should have them. If Taehyung likes his glasses, he should wear them. If Jungkook likes wearing his pants a certain way and likes piercings, he should do what he wants. Fans are there support them, not to criticise them and tell them what to do. They should be able to like what they want.

I don't understand. Nothing from all that I just listed down can offend or hurt you in any way. Those are such innocent likings. Why do they bother you so much? Why do you feel the need to limit them just because you, a person that has literally nothing to do with them other than being their fan, don't like it? This is what their mothers should do, not you. And their mothers don't seem to have a problem with it. Then why do you?

Everyone should be respected. Even idols and their hobbies, likings, style, way of life. LET THEM LIVE PLEASE. LET THEM HAVE A  NORMAL LIFE. LET THEM LIKE THINGS. LET THEM BE INDIVIDUAL. LET THEM BE THEMSELVES. If you can't accept them the way they are, you are not a fan. Until they do something unacceptable, like disrespecting others on what they like, let them do what they want. Idols are people too. And people are all different. We don't need to be all the same prototype. We don't need to all like the same things. Diversity and differences are beautiful.
