Two weeks passed and it seemed like Robb and I are starting to have a huge gap. Hindi ko ma pin point kung anong dahilan pero sa pitong taong magkasama kami, ngayon ko lang naramdaman ito. I apologized again regarding sa deal na di ko nasara, he said it's okay pero tingin ko hindi lang ganun ka simple iyon. His Mom wasn't talking to me since I came back. Pumapasok ako sa office pero parang wala lang din ako doon. Sa dalawang linggong nagdaan, dalawang important meetings din ang di ako kasali.

"Robb, I will accompany Keysha today. Tumawag kasi ang pedia niya and reminded me about her flu vaccine," paalam ko sa kanya right after kong makalabas ng bathroom. Nadatnan ko siyang nagbibihis at sinusuot na ang tie niya. I smiled at him saka iyon inabot. "And after ng vaccination, usually kasi nagkakaroon siya ng mababang lagnat for one to two days so, I'll stay at home until she recovers."

"Please do that," Robb replied and smiled at me too.

He seemed like he is in usual self pero merong feeling na di maalis sa akin na may iba. I feel something different. Something unusual and I don't like it.

"May problema ba tayo Robb?" biglang tanong ko sa kanya. I fixed his tie at doon siya tumingin sa akin. I felt his hand on mine bago niya ako tinignan sa mga mata. "Feeling ko kasi lately, magkasama tayo pero ang layo mo."

"I'm sorry," hingi niya agad ng tawad. "Work."

"Wala na bang ibang rason?" agad ko ulit na tanong sa kanya. "Work nga lang ba? o you're working this hard dahil sa blunder ko?"

"No!" agad niyang tanggi sabay mabilis ding iling. "Kinausap ko na ba ni Mama?" kumunot ang noo ko matapos marinig iyon.

"Hindi pa." I honestly answered him at doon ko nakita ang pag lunok niya. "Why? Is there something she's mad about?"

"Y-You know she's always mad," Robb answered me and chuckled. He was trying to lighten up the mood, I can feel that. "Pero as I always asked of you. Don't mind her. Magaling lang si Mama magsalita pero she really has no intention to hurt you and Keysha."

Ngumiti ako sa kanya.

Yes, those were just words. Hindi naman nakakamatay but still, hearing those kind of words from your mother-in-law is a little bit-,

"To be honest, she was a little bit disappointed regarding the deal you failed to close pero I talked to them na and Martinezs aren't the type of people we should mess with."

"Huh? You mean sila Gabriel? So there's really something in that island?" tama si Cloud?

"I looked into it. Hindi magiging maganda if we dig deeper." Vague. I see, he doesn't want me to ask more about it. "About Mama, please kung kaya mo siyang iwasang makasalubong, just do it."

"I can handle her. Don't worry," sagot ko "Pero alam mo Robb, your Mom was the one who arranged everything di ba? Even the judge who administered our wedding was her good friend."

"A-And?"

"And, I, I sometimes don't understand why she's not very welcoming despite that fact and us being together for seven years. Is it because Keysha is not your-,"

"Don't mind her." putol niya sa pagsasalita ko. "Don't mind her. Sa akin ka naman kinasal hindi sa kanya. Mama has always been like that. Just don't mind her."

Don't mind her? How can I do that? She's your mother for heaven's sake!

Robb talked to Keysha before he left. Maaga siyang pumasok today dahil meron din siyang business meeting sa Davao mamayang ten AM. Regarding sa project sa Sitio San Miguel. I regularly received reports and updates from Engineer Mutya pero the one handling that project na talaga was Robb's trusted Project Manager.
