Jaime arrived around eleven thirty kaya naman sinabihan ko siya na mag lunch na muna bago kami ihatid pauwi but he refused, sabi niya busog naman daw siya kaya okay lang daw na i drive na kami pauwi ng Sitio San Miguel.

I had a glimpse of Gabriel's sister pero we never had a chance to talk, dumiretso din kasi siya sa office ng Daddy niya kasama ang isa pang babae na sa tingin ko kay best-friend niya.

I carried my grocery bags habang pasakay ng sasakyan. Gabriel lent us his 4x4 pick-up truck at nagsama din siya ng isa pang staff para meron daw siyang kasama pauwi.

Cloud and I were sitting at the back seat. Hindi ko siya pinapansin simula pa kanina at alam at ramdam kong nagtataka siya. Minsan pag nasusulyapan ko siya, nakatingin lang din siya sa daan.

Nakarating kami sa Sitio San Miguel ng walang kibuan. I had a chance to talk to Ron din kanina. Nasabi ko ang concerns ko at alam kong i re relay niya din yun kay Robb.

Nasermonan pa niya ako kanina dahil kay Keysha pero ano ba magagawa ko? I tried to correct her attitude naman pero may times lang talaga na ako ang unang sumusuko.

"Madam." Sumalubong sa akin si Khim, she even helped me put the grocery bags inside our hut. "Bakit naparami po ata ang bili niyo?" She asked while sorting the food and other supplies.

"Mahirap kasing lumabas, mahirap maubusan," Walang ganang sagot ko sa kanya.

I bought over the counter medicines and a lot of biscuits. Meron ding cheese and other can goods na pwede i store ng pang matagalan. Bottled water and energy drinks too.

Three days passed smoothly, kita ang mabilis na paggalaw ng project and I am confident na matatapos namin ito before our target deadline basta wala lang maging aberya.

Cloud is very hands on, I can really see that. Bawat mando niya, agad na gumagalaw lahat ng tauhan niya. He is very well versed din that's why alam mong alam niya ang ginagawa niya.

Three days na rin ang lumipas pero wala paring usad sa personal project ko dito sa lugar. Nevermind about the towns-folks for now, si Mayor nga mukhang di interesado sa proposal ko.

I should think of the ways para mapalapit kay Gabriel. Siya lang din ang way ko para mapalapit kay Mayor!

Natigil ang pagtitig ko sa monitor ng laptop when someone put an ice cold soda on the top of it. Galing yun sa personal ref na nasa temfacil at pinuno ng cold drinks.

It's just a rectangular shape temfacil, DR Builders and our company are actually sharing sa limited space na ito. We occupy the left side at sa kanila naman ang right side.

The entrance is located at the center so feeling ko the space is divided equally naman. My table is on the opposite side of Cloud's so technically magkaharap lang but the space between us is enough for me to breathe comfortably.

"T-Thank you." Sabi ko habang nagdadalawang isip pa kung tatanggapin ko ba ang binigay niya o hindi. And what surprised me is when he pulled a chair and sat in-front of my table.

I'm so engrossed with my thoughts kanina kaya ngayon ko lang napansin na past five na at dalawa na lang kaming natira dito ngayon.

"Noreen..." Cloud called me. I suddenly felt uncomfortable because it was the same way how he calls my name before.

Deep yet soft.

"B-Bakit?" Tanong ko sa kanya habang sinusubukang buksan ang canned soda but I was really struggling. "A-Ah, my nails are too short."
