"Curious lang po, close po pala kayo ni Sir?"
"A-Ah? Sakto lang."

Halos madurog na ang tuhod ko ng makarating na kami sa actual site pero agad din napalitan yun ng fascination when I saw the place.

"Sitio San Miguel..." I silently blurted out habang ginagala ang mata sa paligid. Houses were made of woods and other indigenous materials, wala kang makikitang made of steel or concrete.

They were plenty of tall and big trees around, kitang kita rin yung field na tinatamnan nila nang palay at mga gulay. Cows, native chickens and carabaos, meron pa ngang mga goats. They are all roaming around the area so freely.

I hurriedly checked my phone and I am right, wala na ngang signal sa lugar na to and if meron, hinahangin lang at maya maya mawawala rin and that is the main reason why they need us here.

"This is my first time," bulong ko kay Khim, tumango siya.

"Ako rin po."

I'm a bit impressed by the DR Builders prompt response sa project na ito. Nadatnan na namin ang machineries na kailangan and I think his skilled workers are also present na rin sa site. They are currently constructing the temfacil or the temporary facility and I think within the day it's good to go.

"Kailan pa sila dito?" I asked Cloud's representative, Engr. Sef.

"About three days ago Madam," he politely answered "Sir Cloud made sure to prepare everything beforehand. Ayaw niya kasi ng aberya."

Maya maya pa, a helicopter appeared which seems to deliver other essentials to the project. "Nauna na rin sila foreman para i-prepare yung iba." Dagdag pa niya.

From what I am observing, this is the main reason why the DR Builders is currently on the top in their chosen field.

I was busy talking with Engr. Sef regarding sa process ng erection ng cell site when an old man suddenly came close to us.

"Kagawad Mon," pakilala niya. I reached for his hand too.
"Noreen po."

"Magandang umaga sa inyo. Mas mainam sana kung sasaluhan niyo kami ng meryenda bago kayo magsimulang mag trabaho." Magiliw niyang aya sa amin.

"Ah sure, thank you po. I will just call the others so that they can join us."

"Ah iyon bang poging meztiso? Nandun na sila. Nauna ko na silang inaya." Sagot naman ni Kagawad.

Meztiso? He is referring to Cloud, right?

Naglakad kami palapit sa mga bahay. Kagawad Mon also told us that the Mayor instructed him to host us. They provided vacant bahay kubos for us, he said, they will take care of the food din for us.

"That will be a great help Sir." Pasasalamat ko.
"Wala yun Madam, ganito talaga sa Sitio San Miguel. Ibibigay namin lahat para sa mga bisita."

Lahat? That sounds nice.

Pagkalapit namin sa long bamboo table, totoo ngang nauna na sila Cloud doon. He is already munching some food pero halata naman na he is doing that out of respect for the host.

"Turon at camote-q. Ito naman po, sago't gulaman." Alok sa akin ni Kagawad. I happily accepted it at naupo na rin sa vacant chair which happened to be in front of Cloud.

Residents there are very welcoming. Friendly din. They chat non-stop and I find it really cute. I looked at Cloud na hindi naubos yung turon na binigay sa kanya. I even saw him passing it to Engr. Sef na tinanggap naman ang turon at parang kulang pa.
