I woke up at four in the morning, I only got three hours of sleep thanks to Cloud who kept on lowkey teasing me throughout the night. I shared room with Khim, she woke up too minutes after I did.

"Good morning," bati ko sa kanya "I have to meet the Mayor first before we head out to the site."

"Yes Ma'am, sasamahan po kita." Sagot niya rin agad. It's near six nang lumabas kami ni Khim at dumiretso sa may dining area. Staffs were quick to prepare breakfast for us.

Sunod sunod na ring lumabas ang mga kasama ni Cloud. He was the last one to come out. I can see that he already took a bath too, his hair is little wet pa and his nose is reddish too. He is just wearing a plain black shirt and jeans.

"Wala bang heater sa cr niya?" I blurted out kaya naman napatingin si Khim.

"Surprisingly, malamig sa lugar na ito kung umaga siguro around nine or ten later, makakasunog nanaman ang init ng araw." Khim said, I agreed.

We all had our breakfast, yung rest house na nakuha ng company is good, prompt sila sa pag asikaso ng bisita and the foods are really nice and fresh too.

I told Khim to contact the office of the Mayor, I have to personally meet him for business purposes and before we start the construction, I need to settle some matters with him para wala na ring aberya.

"Madam your appointment is confirmed, nine daw po." Khim informed me.

"Then you can go first sa site and I'll just follow na lang, you can use the van, I'll just rent someone nalang to take me to the Mayor's office." Sabi ko kay Khim.

"Ay Madam ang sabi po ng secretary ni Mayor si Sir Gabriel daw po ang makiki pag meet sa inyo."

"Gabriel?"
"Yes po, the Mayor's son."

"Ah, I see."
"Siya na rin po ang pupunta dito sa inyo, ang sabi."

Everyone was preparing to leave ng dumating ang isang sasakyan. It was a white Jeep Wrangler, the latest model at that.

The car door opened at doon lumabas ang isang lalaki na may katangkaran. He removed his blue Ray Ban aviator shades and widely smiled sa lahat ng taong nakakasalubong niya. He looks presentable even with just wearing a plain white shirt and ripped jeans.

Ah. Let me guess, he is the Mayor's son.

"Engr. Gabriel," Pakilala niya matapos makalapit sa akin "I believe you're Miss Noreen Del Vega?"

I smiled widely at him bago tinanggap ang kamay niya para makipag kumustahan.

"It's Missus, Noreen Del Vega-Coyiuto. Pleasure to meet you Engr. Gabriel." The man in-front of me wasn't able to hide his expression. He looked shock and wasn't able to talk agad matapos kong magpakilala.

"Ah I'm sorry." He apologised. "It's just that you look really beautiful and young and I didn't expect you-" I giggled and showed him my hand. "Oh, the ring. Of course." He commented too and laughed with me.

"Anyway, I guess your Dad is really busy today." Tanong ko habang sabay kaming naglalakad papunta sa may lobby area.

"He is a busy man," he answered back. "But since this project is under my department, I think I have the rights to welcome you personally."
