Standing outside the door, Carrie took another deep breath and finally knocked on the door.

Immediately she regretted it and tried to turn around.

"Carrie?" His voice brought tears to her eyes, but she pushed them away and turned around.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have come." Carrie mumbled. She turned around to leave.

"Carrie." Mike said firmly.

She stopped and faced him again, looking into his crystal blue eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Mike asked as she slowly stepped back up towards the door.

Swallowing hard, tears welled up in Carrie's eyes as she looked at Mike.

"I miss you." She mumbled.

"Carrie," Mike let out a sigh. He didn't know what to say to his ex girlfriend of three years.

"I don't know what you want me to say." He scratched his head, a habit Carrie had always loved about him.

"I-I just." Carrie started to say as tears ran down her face.

"I miss you so much Mike, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." The blonde stood on his front porch and sobbed helplessly. Mike let out a big sigh.

"You cheated on me Carrie. You slept with another man. Drunk mistake or not, you still did it. You betrayed me and you let another man do things to you we didn't do for years." Mike tried to keep his cool but couldn't help but raise his voice in anger at the blonde.

Carrie didn't know what to say. Nothing she could say would ever make it better. Nothing could take back what she did and she knew that.

"I know." She murmured. "I know."

"I know I messed up. I messed up big time. And that mistake will live with me every day of my life. I will never forgive myself for what I did. I know that I hurt you. I hurt you deeply, and if the roles were revered, as much as I'd like to tell myself I would forgive you, I probably wouldn't. The thought of you sleeping with another woman makes me sick to my stomach, I can't even imagine it. I don't know what I can say or do to make you give me a second chance. I'm begging you Mike. I can't live without you. I need you. I miss you, I miss your touch, I miss your voice, I miss laying in your arms at night, I miss the way your lips feel against mine, I miss seeing your smile and waking up to those blue eyes every morning. I miss everything about you." Carrie sobbed.

"Mike I miss you so freaking much."

Watching the love of his life break in front of him, all the memories of the past three years flooded his mind and he couldn't help but feel sorry for her.

Yes, she'd broken his heart into a million pieces. He vowed a long time ago that he would never get back with a girl if she cheated on him.

But Carrie, Carrie was different. She was his first love, his only love. She'd been there for him through everything. They'd done everything together, they were best friends. She was his person.

Without thinking, Mike grabbed her arm and pulled her inside, pinning her against the wall. He wasted no time crashing his lips against hers.

Startled, it took Carrie a few seconds to realize what was happening and kiss him back. She'd missed this feeling more than anything, she'd craved it.

After ripping her shirt off, Mike placed his hands on her butt, lifted her up, and carried her up the stairs.

"I've missed you." Mike mumbled against her neck, sliding her pants off as he hovered above her on his bed.

"Mhmm, Mike I'm so-" Carrie moaned. She'd forgotten how good it felt to be touched.

"Shh. It's okay stop apologizing." Mike whispered. He kissed all the way down every inch of her perfect body and back up. "I love you, I always have and I always will."

Carrie tried to speak, but was overwhelmed by the sensations Mike's hands had on her body.

For hours, the couple reunited and made love like they never had before. They agreed to put what happened into the past and move forward with their relationship.

Sometimes, it's not just a relapse.
