The next day I was surfing on my computer, searching for interesting places in Seoul. Why not have some fun in the meantime while I am stuck there for almost two months? I so deserve this anyway.

Suddenly my phone rang and buzzed on the bed right next to me. I frowned slightly before picking it up. I looked at the caller ID and saw one of my classmates name, Hana. She was the closest friend I had and even though she was annoying sometimes, I still liked her which was strange. She wasn’t my best friend since I didn’t have any but she was loyal to me and I could trust her and the other way around.

“Hello?” I answered coldly as usual while looking out the window because a leaf that fell from a tree caught my attention.

“Sam!” she replied cheerfully. She was the complete opposite of me and it was funny how two of us were friends. Sometimes I would question myself on why I was hanging out with her but that question would fade when I realized that Hana may be bright and constantly chatty but at least I was comfortable around her.

“There’s an EXO member that is totally your style!” she exclaimed excitedly and I knew that she was grinning on the other line.

“What’s his name?” I asked curiously. She had been introducing me to this new boy band called EXO from one of South Korea's most famous agencies. I told her to keep me updated because she was a total fan of them and she would constantly talk about a member that she likes named Luhan. He was utterly handsome but not a guy I would consider myself with, he was just eye candy according to myself but not to her, of course.

Hana and I would always talk like this as if there was a chance I would date a celebrity or idol but we both knew that the chances were zero. I still talked about it because it was keeping me closer somehow which was strange in a way but I rubbed it off easily.

I was preparing to search for his name on the laptop while waiting for her to say this typical Sam-guy, quoting her.

“Kai,” she said dramatically and trailed on his name afterwards. Kai? Is he even Korean? I quickly wrote Kai in the search bar, getting a whole page full of his pictures that were obviously from the same photo session.

There were no denying that he was he was utterly gorgeous. He was incredibly handsome and looked slightly innocent thanks to korean features that made guys looked pretty. There were a couple of videos of him with his other members and judging from the video; he was nice as well and his awkward demeanor made me more attracted to him. Although he was with some other members, I couldn’t take my eyes off of him because he was... well, perfect. Appearance-wise.

Hana noticed that I went silent after she revealed his name and she knew I was checking him out on the internet. “I bet you like what you see judging from the silence,” she added which made me roll my eyes because she knew me so well.

“No, I mean, he’s handsome and all but-” I said before she cut me off in the middle of my sentence. “But we’ll never ever met them because we live far, far away from them,” she mimicked me in nasally voice.

"Exactly,  you get the point," I added and chuckled. I smiled a little before scrolling down the search page to see more of his pictures while clutching tightly to my phone next to my ear.

"So, when will I see you again?" she asked with a sad tone, changing the subject completely.

I frowned a little; "Don't worry, when school starts, I'll see you again as usual."

"Promise to call me when you get there," she said with a bit of worry, ending the conversation.

I didn’t answer but smiled instead while hanging up. The pictures of Kai were still on the front so I decided to look up if he had talent or was just another pretty face on the industry, which was normal nowadays.

I had looked up various music video teasers. I listened to them while watching the music video and truthfully, the songs was cool even though I didn't fully understand the meaning. And I ended up with this one video named What Is Love, which is the 14th teaser, where Kai dances in and apparently, he's a great dancer. My inner fan girl squealed slightly when he dance passionately, but I kept calm because of the idea of being in some stranger's house in a couple of hours later pissed me off.

My mother called for me, snapping me out of my own thoughts, to get my things in the car. Before I could do that, I downloaded the song into my phone and put one of it as a ringtone before quickly turning off the computer. I have this habit of always changing ringtone because I easily get sick of it.

I looked at my room one last time before closing the door and dragging my suitcase down the stairs with a heavy heart, not really wanting to leave this house.

My father was already in the driver's seat while my mother was next to him. Me and Hunter were sitting in the back with quite a distance, both of us looking at the opposite direction. I was listening to music so I couldn't hear them but I could see them talking to each other and laughing and stuff. But as usual, I didn't care to join in or even pretend to be interested.

My arm suddenly stung in pain because my little brother had pinched me with all his power to get my attention. I looked at him with an angry face, forehead roughening to show him how irritated I was and that I would get back at him.

"Dad is talking to you," he said unaffected and turned around and pretended as if nothing ever happened happened. I huffed.

"What?" I said with an annoyed voice while looking at the back of my father's head since he was focused on the road.

"How do you feel about studying in summer school? Aren't you excited?" he asked happily. No wonder my mother and he was perfect for each other, they were equally bright. I started to think of why I was surrounded with extremely positive people; my mother, father and Hana. Maybe their positive aura and energy have made me this negative and cold.

"It feels like pure shit," I said arrogantly before smirking from my own answer. My father looked at me through rear view mirror, signaling that I should watch my language especially in front of their son of an angel.

"Sad but true," I added before looking out the window and listening to music again, shutting them out of my own little world.
