Finally Free [Gavin Free][Undergoing Editing]

RWBY and Wet Bread

Bree was staying a little over a month before she had to return to England. She quickly became friends with all of the guys and she was even in a Things To Do. Ray and her shared a few flirty comments back and forth almost everyday, making Gavin, Michael, and I to tease them until they were blushing like crazy.

I sit in a chair across from Joel inside his office, looking through all of the Let's Plays I was in and also listening to Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life". I never really cared about the feedback I would have recieved. I've never actually looked at any of the comments, but since I'm not working or doing anything useful, I decided on sifting through the comments. So far, no hateful comments popped up.

Most of the comments were very happy ones. Some said they were glad they saw a girl messing with the guys besides Lindsay and some even said they thought Gavin and I were too adorable when we play fought or made jokes with each other. I snorted at those comments and looked past them, trying to find any rude comments. I searched for what seemed like forever until I found a short sentence saying "This bitch sucks ass."

"That's nice." I said aloud.

"What is it?" asked Joel. He and I became good friends after what happened with Will. He was like a father figure to me as was Burnie, Gus, Matt, and Geoff. They all treated me like I was their daughter and sometimes that could get annoying because they all kept a watchful eye on Gavin, expecting him to jump me at any moment. They stopped watching Ray when they saw his obvious fancy for Bree.

"Well, I never have looked at the comments on the Let's Plays I've done and so far nothing bad at all except one guy saying I suck "ass." I tried my best at using my American accent. Joel laughed and shook his head calling the guy an "ass" right back.

A knock on the door frame turned both of our attentions to the person standing there. It was Monty, the main animator and director of one of the biggest internet anime series, RWBY.

"Hey Monty," I said. "What's up?" I pulled out my earbud, turning my attention fully on Monty.

"I was looking for you and wanted to ask you something." I shrugged and got out of my chair saying goodbye to Joel before following Monty to the kitchen. I grabbed a Red Bull while I was in there. Michael got me into the whole energy drink addiction and now I couldn't stop drinking the delicious Red Bull.

"What is it you wanted to talk about?" I asked.

"Well, you know our show RWBY?" I nodded. "Well, there's this character I just created that I thought would be perfect for you to voice act for. Her name is Penny and she's a super badass fighting chick that meets Ruby and the others. I could give you more of a detailed description, but I think it would be better if you just read the script. What do you say?" His eyes were glistening with excitement. How could I say no? RWBY was amazing and being a part of something this big was hard to refuse.

"I would love to, Monty! When do I start?" I asked, taking another drink from my Red Bull.

"Tomorrow. Penny's only in two episodes for this season, but she'll be in more in the future. Oh and she's also American so you better practise your accent." He chuckled. I nodded and he said he'd give me a script and also a character drawing after the podcast tonight. I thanked him and even bucked up the courage to give him a small squeeze.

We both went our seperate ways, him back to the animating room and me to the AH office. Right when I opened the door, Gavin ran past me, dry heaving and holding a hand to his mouth.

"What the fuck?" I said, watching him rush out the front door. Everyone was laughing and I saw a piece of wet bread in Michael's hand.

"I couldn't resist. The urge was too great!" He was laughing so hard that he doubled over and fell on the ground, the wet bread crumbling on the carpet. Feeling humorous, I put down my Red Bull and grabbed the spongy, wet slice and told Lindsay to come with me. She was at Michael's desk, laughing with him, but once I motioned for her to come with me, she grabbed her mobile and started recording me.
