My decision was to stay until the day of my important exam which was in two days. I didn't want to say good bye to Gavin at the airport and have him leave without me, but the ring that was snugly fitted on my finger reminded me that I would see him very soon. I would be doing the online course, even though I wished to still cross the campus and gaze upon the god like structures of the college.
When we told Burnie this morning about our happy news, he seemed very ecstatic for us. I could tell he had a bit of a complication at the words that poured from our mouths, but he quickly shoved it aside to congratulate us. He took a step forward into agreeing with Gavin and mine's relationship and for that, I'm thankful.
"Why can't you just come with me?" Gavin groaned, interlacing his fingers with mine and bringing them up to his lips. Burnie and Barbara were a little ways away, speaking with my father and even Carrie who had decided on meeting them out. When I showed Carrie my ring, she shrieked, not as scary loud as Bree, but fairly close.
"I told you--the exam is an in class only thing. I'll be with you again in three days, don't worry. You're lucky I didn't decide to wait for my fours years to be up." I grinned as he gripped my hand tighter as if I would actually do that.
"I'd have to throw you in my suit case and carry you out then." Gavin chuckled.
"So, you'd rather suffocate me?" I laughed while he rolled his eyes.
"You know what I meant," Gavin then pulled me in for a tight hug. We would be seeing each other in three days, but to me it would feel like an eternity.
"Flight 304 to Austin, Texas is now boarding." The monotone voice said on the speakers and I gave Gavin a hard kiss, stroking the outline of his jaw before he departed.
"You better meet me at the airport in three days, otherwise I'm calling off the wedding." Gavin grinned, making me giggle and push him to his flight.

Next Day...
"I don't want to!" I groaned, throwing the soft sheets over my head and moaning from the dull pain that echoed in my body. This morning I wasn't feeling well and the head ache that pounded through my skull made me want to drive a drill through my forehead. That's how bad it was.
"You'll be late," My dad sighed, trying to tug away the sheet, but I had a strong grip on it. "Fine, but I don't think Mr. Valkur will like you here instead of in his class." With that I heard the door close and I let out a sigh of relief. Thank fuck, because I needed to stop talking, otherwise my head was going to split and my insides would have been staining the floor.
I just wasn't feeling well and I blamed it on my dad's roast last night. It did seen a little too bloody and pink, but being the shy girl, I kept my silence. Insulting my father's cooking was something no one should ever do. He was passionate about cooking as well as art and sometimes he mixed the two--don't ask, long story.
I groaned as another pang of shock rushed through me and I had to quickly shuffle out of my bed to run and insert my stomach acids into the toilet bowl. Fuck you, food poisoning. I've had it before and all the other times it's been worse, but the way this was unexpected made it even worse. I leaned back against the wall to recollect my posture and ran a hand through my hair.
All of a sudden, the sound the TARDIS makes began to drift out from my room, signaling I had received a text.
"Fuck." I sighed and picked myself up from the tiled floor to go and see who had messaged me.
Hey, love! Just heading off to bed now. I love you :)- Gav
I smiled weakly and was about to reply when I had the urge to release my acids back into the toilet.
