Watching Ray leave, I already knew, was a bad sign. Michael, Lindsay, Gavin, and I were sitting at a table in the far back with a good view of Bree's booth. We were all quiet as we saw Bree lay her head in her small hands.

"At least they talked." Lindsay said, trying to make the mood lighter, but it wasn't helping. Sure, they talked, but what about? Even from here I could see the pain in both of their eyes. I started to feel guilty about the whole plan. I even said Bree needed space, but my heart won over my mind. I wanted nothing more than to rush over to my dear friend, collect her into my arms, and tell her everything was going to be alright and that I was so sorry. So very very sorry.

"Jay, you alright?" Michael asked. I could feel tears slipping from my eyes. Gavin's arm brought me to him and I let him. I knew the true person that needed comforting was Bree--all alone right now-- but Gavin was making me feel like I needed it as well.

The next day, surprisingly, Ray was at the office. He was joking with the guys and a smile was on his face, but I could still see the traces of frustration and sadness in his features. Bree had let me know, by a text, that she was going to be staying with Kara for a bit, angered at the fact that I lied to her about the dinner. I kept trying to call her, but her voicemail was the one to answer me. When I asked Kara how she was, she just told me Bree was in bed the whole morning when she left her place.

"Don't be too hard on yourself," Barbs said as I sat at her desk with her. I told her about everything that happened last night and she seemed to be understanding. "You were trying to do something you thought was good. It just didn't work out the way you were hoping." She rubbed my shoulder, a smile on her beautiful face.

"She's making the whole thing difficult. She either won't let me help or she just gives up all together. The four of us watched as Ray left and she looked so depressed afterwards." That event replayed in my mind over a million times. It was like watching a scene from a movie, but live and in person.

"Relationships are major bitches, Jay. You don't know what's going to be thrown at you until it's already too late." Barbara shrugged. She was such a supportive friend, even though she could be so childish you wanted to know how she was an adult, but she knew what she was talking about. I knew I had to fix this somehow--I just had no clue where to start. Probably the best thing would be to apologise, to both Ray and Bree. Lindsay, Gavin, and Michael were going to be part of that plan.

I thanked Barbs for talking with me and left in search of the three who were somewhere in the office. Today, Burnie has been trying to accept Gavin and mine's relationship, but I could see visible disapproval in his eyes. I knew it was a tough concept for him to handle, but he just had to grasp the fact that we were together and no one was going to change that. Our fans on the Internet have been supportive as well--already designing fan art-- but some have actually spoken against the idea. I guess Gavin and I actually being together was just an imaginary thing for them and now that it was something real, they couldn't handle it.

"Don't pay attention to them." Gavin and the others had told me and I gave them a weak smile. People were also bashing on Bree, believing her to be the reason of Ray's long disappearance. Well, when Ray had tweeted one day that he's was spending the day alone...again, that kind of proved there was something wrong. So now Ray feels guilty for doing that, putting him under a more dark state, but he's been smiling and laughing all day, so I think he's forgotten about it.

"Michael!" I saw the curly-haired boy talking with Chris in the animation room. They both looked over at me as I came to them.

"Hey, Jay. What's up?" Michael said, smiling, allowing his dimples to pop out. Chris saw the business-like emotion in my eyes and knew to leave us alone. "Something wrong?"
