I didn't bother with telling Bree about my mum. She wouldn't exactly understand. Sure, she sort of had the same problem as me when she was younger, except her situation was slightly different. When she told me she was hired at Roosterteeth I was ecstatic. Having my girl friend work along by me was going to be the best. Even though she won't be part of Achievement Hunter, she'll be part of a big portion of Roosterteeth. Being an editor and possibly an animator is big, especially with working with two of the biggest web series online.

"Ready, love?" Gavin asked as he paid for our dinner. Gavin had wanted another date with me instead of just snogging and ending up in bed the moment after. We never really had the chance to go on another full date, so when he asked I had to accept.

"Yeah." I smiled, taking one last drink from my beer. The place he brought us to was a kick-back and quiet restaurant that had smells of honey roasted meat and rich, aromas of ales. Smells of heaven.

Gavin placed a hand on the small of my back as we exited the warm, cozy building, out into the chilly, England air. I decided on going home tomorrow, seeing that my dad was fine and healthier than a power horse. Of course, I didn't want to leave him, but knowing that he wouldn't be trapped in his hospital bed while I'm having the time of my life in America, is actually comforting. My mum being around him...not so much.

"What now?" Gavin asked. I looped my arm through his as we walked down the street. Burnie was at the hospital with my dad, probably catching up. He didn't even know about Gavin and mine's date.

"Well, I've actually never been on the London Eye. I've always wanted to, but never got the chance." I admitted. Gavin nodded.

"Then that's what we'll do. It would be my pleasure to be with you your first time." Gavin chuckled. I fiddled with a loose string on his coat while watching London traffic corrupt the streets. "So what were you and Bree talking about earlier?"

"I said girl stuff, Gavin. Nothing that would interest you, love." I condescended him. He gave me a confused look which made me giggle out of sheer enjoyment of that look.

"That bad? Was it about periods or something?" He asked.

I laughed so hard that I almost tripped over a deep crack in the pavement. Gavin caught my elbow and pulled me to him so I wouldn't crush my face against the cement. My laughter only continued at my clumsiness.

"Periods? Seriously? That's not what girl talk is. How thick are you? That's just 'period talk'." I poked his cheek, making him swat my hand away.

"I don't know! I'm not a girl, so I can only guess. Cut me some slack." Gavin shook his head.

"Fine. We were talking about her and Ray finally becoming official."

"About bloody time." Gavin chuckled.

"Exactly! They are so adorable together. I already made a ship name for them." Gavin raised his eyebrows at me, wanting me to reveal the name. "Bray."

"Sounds good to me. Now we'll just have to make it go viral and sit back, wait for the fan art and fan fictions." Gavin smiled. "Was that the only thing?"

I didn't answer which made him raise his eyebrows again. I made sure to stare straight ahead, avoiding his green stare.

We made it to the London Eye. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would have been so we were able to get on immediately. I gripped Gavin's arm, waiting for the Eye to start taking off.

"Scared?" Gavin asked.

"I'm not such a big fan of heights." I sighed out.

"Good to know. I won't take you on a romantic date on the Eiffel Tower then." I chuckled at his joke. Once the Eye began moving, I literally clawed at Gavin's arm. "Just relax. Nothing's going to happen. You were fine on the plane here. What's the difference?"
