It's minutes past midnight...

"Sir! Sir! It's an emergency!" Peter's barangay tanods came running towards him.

"What is it, then?" The barangay chairman turns around and talk to his troops.

"There's a fifteen year old kid stuck on the edge of the ditch!" One of the tanods orients about the situation. "That ditch is very deep so if that kid falls into it, he will drown!"

"What?!?! We patrolled the area and we thought that there are no more kids outside? Ehem...anyway, did you call the police?"

"Yes, sir." Another tanod replies to him.

"Okay, then. Let's go to where the incident is."

"Wait, sir...." The team is about to leave to the site when Lexi calls them.

"Huh? What do you need?"

"If you want, we can take you to the place." Alex makes an offer for dagat transport through our truck.

"That's great! Thank you."

Peter and his team then gets into our truck...there not so many but...umm...I think that makes our truck somewhat heavy. But that's okay, trucks like this are designed to withstand this kind of heavy road, right? Hehehe!

One of Peter's barangay tanods guided Peter in driving into the place of the incident...where we saw...that the situation itself is not easier then we thought...it was a big kid...with his hand stuck on the railings on the edge of the ditch. Usually, heavyweights are easy to fall because their weight cannot hold any thing that they cling on much longer. So they need to rescue that kid...fast.

The kid is surrounded by other barangay tanods serving as rescuers, as well as some random people...perhaps that's the kid's family and relatives...

"Help! Help!"

"Kid! Just calm down!" One rescuer attempts to intervene with the boy. "We will whatever we can to save you!"

As my eyes glanced around my surroundings...I didn't notice...that Lexi is already gone from the food truck.

"Umm...guys, where is Lexi right now?"

"Oh...he said to me that he will help the rescuers." Danica relays my boyfriend's message. Well, I can't argue with that...Lexi's strong enough to help rescue the boy. Hehehe!

Alex's POV:

It's really harder than expected...

I just discovered from the rescuers the risk they are about to take. Without any professional help, it might lead to tragedy...
