Road Trip Day 31
Location: Cagayan De Oro City

Alice Flonne's POV:

"Alice...can I ask you something?"

"Hmm? Okay. What is it, Claire?"

"Well...umm...Jake and Kyle invited us girls to go some shopping in a nearby mall." Claire explains her excuse. "They wanted to buy something for your mother when they return to Malaybalay. And I wonder if you can allow us to go with them."

"Huh? Why would I forbid you to hang out with my brothers? Hehehe!" I giggled at my best friend. "Go on, hang out with my brothers. Lexi and I can handle orders by ourselves. Perhaps...perhaps I could see you falling in love with one of them? Ayeeee!!!"

"He-hey! Sto-stop it!" Claire, with her face blushing, refutes back at me. "What you makes think about that?!"

"Hehehe! That's my payback to all the flirts you give to me!"

"Hmm!!!" The only thing that Claire could do before she leaves the truck with my friends is to pout at me. "Come on, guys! Let's go!"

"Okay!" Danica was the next to leave the truck. "Bye, Alice! Our shopping won't take long. We'll return as soon as possible."

"Yeah, Alice." Azmina follows suit. "We won't be back until sunset."

"Okay! Bye!" I reply back to my departing friends. "Take care of yourse-wait! Did you just said you're not going home until sundo-"

I was supposed to ask why they will stay outside for too long but it's too late. They left almost immediately...sigh...well, at least I still have my boyfriend Lexi with me.

But suddenly...being alone with him...made me realize how far I have gone...it started when Lexi motivated me to pursue my passion in cooking...but now...it's different...it's more than my passion on cooking...it's something else...

"You know, Lexi, it's been more than a month ever since we started this food road trip." I begun to say some random feeling to him. "I never thought we have made it this far...I mean you're always at my side...in the good times...and the worst...we always argue everyday whether which cooking fares best...we make new dishes...make new friends...make more customers happy...I just wonder...when we finished this memorable trip, what should I do next? I still want to pursue my passion but I don't have any idea how...only you could think of a way, would you?"

From everything that comes from my mouth...I feel somber. I realized that this road trip won't take long anytime soon. We've been in every places we can think of...and only a handful left...what will happen to our cooking rivalry...bonding time with my friends...and...my time with Lexi...

"Well, I could hangout with more often."

"Huh?" I'm pretty curious about this simple isda from my boyfriend. "What are you talking about?"

"Well...we're living pretty close to each other so I could stay every now and then." Lexi smiled at me and explains. "You could teach me some of your cooking skills for me. Oh! That reminds me...you have all the numbers of our friends, you can call them up and invite them to your house. Do you feel a little bit better now?"

Hehehe! Lexi is such an optimistic guy for me...he thinks more positively on the future more than I am. I wish I was like him the moment we begin this food trip thingy.

"Hehehe! Yes, I feel a little better now." I giggled in response to Lexi's explanation. "Maybe I think a little bit too much...hehehe...huh?"

Little did I know that there was already a customer right in front of us.
