Intent

Think long about this question
It may seem stupid at first
But listen well because
In this so many are immersed

As I stalk the halls of a house
In the deepest depths of night
I see my target and attack
They seldom put up a fight

So now I straighten my back
With a knife bloodied by an innocent man
I ask you: Was it a good enough reason to kill him
Simply because I can?
