Religion, religion, churches of formality
An infant's destiny depending on its familyFrom when life's dawn breaks they walk into the light
Whether it be beautifully dark or pleasantly bright
But a problem arises in the bright childhood vice
They have no choice of the future of life
We cannot ask a child just born to convert to a religion
In a world where all they know is influence
A parent may think them doing the next generation a favour
Yet they are cruel, not a saviourGranted, they likely receive a choice later on
But they would be seeing stars after the indoctrination
So is this bad, or is it right?
In a world where youth run off in rampant spite
Where wars and skirmishes fill urban streets
When children see things no child can see
Freedom is dangerous, a cage may be necessary
For children oft become their own adversarySo are our children really so slack?
Or is religion holding them back?
