My Foul Thoughts

Foul thoughts, we let them drive us
All for nought, they turn us insane
The battles we've fought are cast backwards
As our inner desires come out to play
What is wrong with me, to feel these things
Such that they say none should ever?
Simple notions are comparable to Hitler
When we have not even acted upon them

Discrimination over views that are bottled up inside
We are tempted to succumb but never called them right
Hypocritical, aren't you?
What dark views and values do you have within?
All this conflict that ensues
Is a product of your destructive glee
To feel satisfaction for overwriting
A thought condemned by your bit of society

At the end of the day, if you truly have reasons
If my mind is so lost it's beyond repair
It doesn't matter what my thoughts are
Because, idiot. It only matters if I act on them.
