Glassy World

Transparent buildings
A metropolis of glass
Shattered shards fall like diamonds
They make up what we are
We live in a shattered society
With these cities made of glass
Buildings rise high
But to break them is but a simple task

For it is a glassy city around me
A glassy sky above me
A sea of shards at my feet
And a society built on transparent deceit

A glassy world has a glassy sky
Oh, glassy sky
As long as I'm alive you will be part of me
This glassy sky
The cold, broken pieces of me
The fragments of a fractured society

We are reflections of what is around us
And we all break the same
In the end we own nothing but shards
And this glassy world is to blame
We will shatters
Everything falls
Everything meets the glassy see

Oh, the mystery of it, I recall
Maybe the truth will change the way we fall?
