Starless Night

We live our life always looking up

Higher, higher, to the brightest lights

But when the ground is littered

With shining fragments of the stars

The stars we idolized for their shine

In your path of misguided reverence, ask yourself

What do we do

When the sky is black

No-one picks up the phone

Splinters of the stagnant stars fallen from home

Are you prepared

To be all alone?
