Moves

A board stretched out in front of you

So many moves you could make

Do you move the pawn a step forward?

Or lead the charge with your left rook?

The truth is, many go forth at full force

But seldom does one ever win like that

The beauty of a game like this is you can take a step back

And when you fall, when checkmate comes

Trace back your steps, don't look straight below

Because problems aren't about where you fall

They're about where you slip, where you lost it all

Each battle is won before it's moves are fought

Such is this game, and this game is life
