You're making a meal
You're writing a paper
You're running a marathon
There is help
So many hands at your disposal
One voice calls to you:
"Many hands make light work"
Another shouts from above:
"Too many spoil the brew"
Contradictory statements, mind you
Do you find the middle ground?
Do you choose one or the other?
Do you do neither
And take the risk to suffer
You sit with all the voices screaming
Contradicting without meaning
And you simply shout:
"How many hands!?"
They are silent after that
So many voices
But like so many things
