A Feeble Plea

Consider this, in your daze...
As the fire purges within your watery maze...

When your world is consumed by petty assumptions
Please take a moment to forsake your gluttony
For there is no point in lamenting the smallest, happiest little reality
When across the world, starvation is formality

The darkness will come, in all of its malicious class
But is it real, and will it really last?
For your deepest and darkest black is white
For those who would sell their soul for a fraction of your light

We sit broken messes
Victims of insignificance's possession
Wallowing over fate's caresses
Where many have never had their first lesson

So take up this feeble plea or forsake us
Take a solemn moment of appreciation
Oh saxicolous one, What you have is a precious living
Precious for those who live their lives devoid fortune's sweet singing

Forever, to their untimely graves.
