All Bite and no Bark

Scalded for talking big
And living up to small
Put on a muzzle for barking hard
And yet still biting so soft
A practice defined as
All bark and no bite
All dark and no light
All trouble and no strife

But strife is dangerous, is it not?
We may talk small, but for what cause?
Dark is what encompasses all, true
But light has its own ways to be used
If you talk small and bite big
Who is really going to see?
If you don't herald that one fateful coming...
