Blood and Water

Blood is thicker than water

Family is reliable and wealthy

Friendship may be strange fickle

But is water not more healthy?

Both mean something

Just different shades of ink

But never forget

Both fluids can leak

It's true, blood makes you related

It mushes you together clammily

Because when it comes down to it

Love is what forms a family

Whether they float on a sea of red

Or broken up blue

Your family is, undoubtedly

The ones that love you
