Injury Apocalypse: Philippe Coutinho

I honestly thought that if they were already up here the last time, they wouldn't be around the second time around.

This was expected, to me at least, but it still hurts to know.

Coutinho went into a fifty-fifty challenge with N'dong when we went against Sunderland at Anfield and came out the unfortunate one.

After reports on Monday, we now know that he'll be out for four to six weeks due to an ankle injury.

If you see the picture, you can even see the moment he picks up this injury and it's very awkwardly bent. Which made question why their number two was even touching Coutinho. Could have been just the challenge that caused this or the pulling and challenge that caused this. Sending my thoughts out to Coutinho because he was doing amazing things since the season started.

Firmino has been doing a lot better than Coutinho, as he had only a calf injury and had to miss the Leeds match because of it

Firmino has been doing a lot better than Coutinho, as he had only a calf injury and had to miss the Leeds match because of it. He's back and ready for Bournemouth though, so it's a good rest he got and the same for Jöel Matip, so they're definite starters.

Adam Lallana is targeting a comeback this weekend as he's overcoming his groin injury. But I was totally distracted of that news by his knees. They say it's a new generation thing but I've never worn jeans like that in my life. Love how Jamie Redknapp's trying to join in but looks like nothing to Lallana.

Daniel Sturridge is still out too, his own calf injury persisting more than Firmino's but have no fear, the youths are here!  Woodburn had an AMAZING match last night and Origi along with Grujic and co can help us fill the holes

I'm on a picture frenzy, but it's Woodburn, I think I'm allowed just this once

I'm on a picture frenzy, but it's Woodburn, I think I'm allowed just this once. Quite the goal!

Injury list is Ings, Coutinho and Sturridge.
