Love that I looked up 'Liverpool Youths' to get some random youths I may have seen before . . . only to get more Chelsea youths than Liverpool ones. Wow, Chelsea does love themselves some youth players. Only to put on loan right after.
Also, Jese Rodriguez went to PSG?! I never realized . . . that ruins the probability.
•Welsh Youth Impresses In Trial
It was actually his first day in Melwood and he did a lot better than they expected there. His name is Cian (Pronounced "Key-in", if you didn't know) Harries, 19 years old and a defender from Coventry. He still has more days to go, but if he can continue to preform up to next week, he can be a Red in no time with a fee already on the table. We've gone this route before with Coventry but it didn't go through, with us backing out. He seems like a nice guy and player and we are running low on our Welsh players with Joe Allen gone. The U23s interim manager seems pretty excited with him, saying, "It's a difficult one because it is a little bit hush-hush but he's done well tonight. You can see he's going to play football, he seems a very, very nice player. He's only been with us for 24 hours so we'll see how that one works out." Hope it does. 5/5 in hopes things work out.
•Flanno's Loan Cut Short
His progress has been hampered by . . . a knee injury. I guess this was expected but it's getting slightly frustrating. At first, it was expected that he would come back to Liverpool because of this as he would be pretty useless on the physio table and not on the pitch. But it seems that Burnley are putting in that hope that he can put this all behind him and continue. I see him staying at Burnley for the rest of the season, Liverpool is the problem though. He has only gotten 314 minutes with Burnley over 5 matches and only 3 starts in those. If he can't get into the Burnley side, how can he get into ours? I hope he can recover and Klopp can give him another shot because it'd be disappointing to see him end here. 5/5 stays with Burnley for the remainder of the season.
•Liverpool Can Get Bonus From Canos Sell-On Fee
To be honest, truly forgot about Canos. Sorry, but when you go on a title challenge season, that stuff kind of happens. Anyways, Canos couldn't get into the Liverpool side and didn't renew his contract, getting swooped up by Norwich (I believe I wrote about it). Fast forward 6 months and it seems the same thing is happening at Norwich. Ouch. So Norwich seem to be trying to send him to Brentford, where he did well last season. It remains to be seen if Brentford is going to accept anything just yet or whether Canos will try to push for more minutes and stuff. Will see this out with a 3/5 as Canos seems like one to be mad about not getting minutes. I would too, but maybe a loan would've been better.
•Liverpool Reject All Offers For Kevin Stewart
This could also read "Kevin Stewart Rejects Offers For Klopp Hugs". Yeah, that works too. West Brom, Swansea, Newcastle, Aston Villa and Brighton and Hove Albion have all come out as those that want to get Stewart but it seems that Klopp really wants to keep Stewart and sees him as a key rotation player. We haven't really seen him this season, but this season has also shown that we should just agree with Klopp on a lot of things. Again, there is the upcoming FA and Cup Without A Sponser (EFL) matches we have. 5/5 he's going to stay and in the summer we'll see where things go
•Liverpool Battle United For Nottingham Forrest Yute
Well, I haven't really heard this kid before. But if we're duking it out with United, I want him. I really want him. Just to spite United. Ben Brereton, the striker in question, is seventeen and thought to be one of the best young strikers in England, scoring 15 goals in 20 appearances for the U23s side of Nottingham. He's recently signed a new deal with the club but seriously, I like the sound of him and I don't like the sound of him in their red. Let's try for it! 3/5 as these are the most complicated of rumours and always depend on things like what the parents/friends would want. Hopefully they want Liverpool Red.
•Tiago Ilori to Leave Liverpool
To be honest, forgot about him too. But it seems like Klopp did too just a bit or actually likes Lucas the CB over Ilori the CB. Ouch. Anyways, it seems like Ilori can't break into any side right now as Sakho is taking up the spot that would most likely have gone to Ilori. And even then, Sakho isn't getting that spot much either. The fee is £3.75m, fair enough as he hasn't really done anything in the past two seasons. Other than play better than Enrique at CB that one time. Yup, can't think of anything else, sorry. It's still amazing to think that he's 23 as well. Thought he may have been older or something. 5/5 guess this is the end
•Pedro Chirivella to Dutch Side Go Ahead Eagles
What kind of name is that? Almost thought they were talking about the Super Eagles. Anyways, this isn't a rumour. It happened kind of quickly but he has gone on loan to the Dutch side and will be there until the end of the season. Hope he comes back in one piece and a better player!
•Klopp Wants Schneiderlin After Henderson Has Been Ruled OUT For The Season
Hehe, what? I have seen NO reports that Henderson has been ruled out for the season. Sunderland? Yeah. The season? You're outta your mind. Schneiderlin has been very unused for United, almost getting the same treatment as Schweinsteiger under Mourinho, which is stupid as they're very good midfielders. While Henderson isn't out, I still couldn't see this happening even if he was. Schneiderlin is from United. And we're Liverpool. I swear, logic is really thrown out of the window sometimes. 0/10 this is just bad and can scare people.
•Sakho to Replace Southampton Fonte?
Okay, you're breaking my heart. It's broken. I get that he has to go but stringing this about, I'm just continuing this pain slowly. I literally learned French with one of the reasons being Sakho. I could see this happening as Klopp is done with Sakho and apparently the feeling is mutual but do it quickly. All because Fonte handed in a transfer request. He has been doing very well. 3/5 as he has to leave at one point.
• Matchday Updates
This is it with the rumours for today. Karius will play against Plymouth Argyle, Matip is just days away from being back (just not this FA match, same with Coutinho), Gomez is nearing first-team play, Milner can't play against PA (I'm done with spelling out that name) but maybe Southampton, Danny started training today and he has a chance of playing PA. Henderson's not our forever, he's just not ready now.
