Hey, hey, hey!
The results may suck, but guess what? The transfer window has opened yesterday and will stay open until February 1st!
We will definitely need this as Mané is going away for AFCON, which will come up again in 2019. Jesus, why couldn't it have been in the summer like the Euros. Nigeria's out, which makes it worse.
Anyways, that's important as we have yet to see of Sheyi Ojo after his back injury, the closest replacement we have for Mané. Let's start with the crazy.
● Joe Hart to Liverpool because why not?
What I get from this, is that we'll have 4 keepers. Not counting the one on loan and the ones that are youths. He's done well in Torino, but he's on loan. So he'd need to be recalled from loan and then sold, which sounds like much for a keeper very close to Mignolet's skill and not near Karius' ceiling. 0/5 Wish they could have gone for a more believable rumor with that Bravo problem
●Jacob Murphy to replace Mané
I guess? I don't understand the need for us to get a youth player when what we need is a reliable Milner that can play in the winger position and won't be upset when Mané comes back. The real kicker is that we'll buy him only to loan him back to Norwich. It seems odd to me, but he has been alright. 2/5
●Liverpool to get RB Leipzig's Forsberg
Haha! We'll be taking from the corporate puppets! But they're doing very well, sadly, so it will be a challenge to make him go when he'll get barely any minutes here. All the money couldn't make him want to sit on the sidelines. This may be a big club, but he's young and guaranteed not to get some time with our front three. 0/5 unless rumour continues
● Carragher believes van Dijk is the defensive way
He's from Southampton? Check. Legend wants him? Check. Denied Liverpool points? Check.
If he scored, I'd put all sorts of guaranteed on it. He's a good defender and could possibly be a great fit next to Matip. But why on Earth would Southampton allow it now? Sounds reasonable during the summer, but not now. 1/5 for possible continuation
●Christian Pulisic still on the table
Why? Dortmund said no. Stop journos, just stop. 0/100 Not now, and especially not during the winter.
●Raul Jimenez a possible target
He's £22m, which is a shame because I thought we should get a Mexican player, just to expand our Latin America/Spanish group and he seems to be a good player. He's a Benfica striker, which is a bit bothering as they aren't all that, but they have talents. Maybe, but kinda doubt it. 2/5
● Galatasaray interested in Sakho
They offered €1m for loan, but it seems that Klopp no longer wants him around and will want a permanent goodbye. I believe teams will want him, but I just don't think it will be these ones. He will have to do this soon, or he may never get a truly good deal if he waits. Poor Mama. 2/5
● Lucas to stay the winter
I always find it funny that when there's a rumor for Lucas to go, a midfielder gets injured and he has to stay. So yeah, Hendo got injured and that means he won't leave. 5/5 He's at least staying this season
●16 year old Juan Sanabria to Anfield
Apparently he's trained at Melwood in 2015, but which part I don't know. He's Uruguayan and talented as he's the U19s star for the country and U17 captain. Massive. He has agreed to terms with Atlético, which basically ended this quickly. 1/5 as he could end up falling out with the Spanish giants, but it's doubtful.
●Liverpool look at Jese Rodriguez
Now this is a replacement! He doesn't get a whole ton of game time at Real, so he's used to it. And he's not a giant star, so there's the chance we could give him more than Los Blancos. Plus, we have Klopp hugs. He's a great player and has impressed me time and time again. I've wanted him around since the 14/15 season, so not much of a change. It's just if Real want to give him up. 3/5 for true believability.
●Oscar to Shanghai SIPG
I'm sure you all wondered why I changed my username, one of the reasons why here. I'm not bitter, I just feel a bit disappointed. And sad, since I can't watch him anymore unless he gets called up for Brazil. He goes for a record breaking £60m, more than I thought he could and the coach that was there for him at the start at Chelsea is there. This is either the reboot his career needs, or the end of it. Do well, Oscar.
That's it for today! I'll try to be back tomorrow and don't be worried about the result, it was practically destined with the stupid schedule.
