"At a party down the street. Hailey I don't think he did it. He loves you" he says
"Which way" I say
"What?" Nash says
"Which way is the party?!" I say on the verge of tears again
"Hailey come inside. I'll go get him" he says
Cameron and I go inside.
"I don't know what to believe anymore" I say sitting on the couch and Cameron sits next to me
I put my head on his shoulder
"I don't think he did it" he says
"I don't know" I say
A few minutes later the door opens and Nash and Hayes walk inside.
"Hailey" he says walking to me
I ignore him and go upstairs, he follows.
Elizabeth and sky are out of town for the week.
I go in his room an he follows and closes the door.
"Hailey I-" he says
"You kissed her! Again." I say
"I'm sorry. She came up to me and I had a few drinks. I pushed her off of me, I swear" he says
"How am I supposed to believe you Hayes?" I say
"I would never do anything to hurt you. You're my baby. You're my everything. Jordan is just a jealous ex trying to get back at you because I'm in love with you and not her" he says
"Why would you even go to the party if Jordan is their?!" I say
"I didn't know she was going to be their!" He says
"You could've left when you saw her!" I say
"Hailey I promise I wouldn't do anything to hurt you, ever" he says
"I know you probably weren't the one who texted me" I say
"What are you talking about?" He asks confused so I show him the text from Jordan and "him"
"I swear I didn't write this hailey. I lost my phone at the party" he says
"Why didn't you text me when you left?" I asked
"I didn't have my phone on me hardly" he says "please trust me"
He kisses my lips and I kiss back.
"This is the last time" I say
We go downstairs.
"Y'all good?" Nash asks
"Yeah" we say
"I would've beaten you to a pulp Hayes" Cameron says
"I would never hurt her" he says
Hayes and I end up going for a walk.
"Hayes!" We hear
I recognize that voice anywhere.
Jordan runs up next to Hayes.
"Where are you going?" She asks
"On a walk with my girlfriend" he says
"What about us?" She asks
"Jordan we are nothing. We never were. We will never be" he says
"What about the ring you gave me" she says
"Ring?" I say she pulls out a ring
My heart breaks when I see it.
"Hayes" I say pulling my hand from his
"How'd you get that!" Hayes says
"You gave it to me today" Jordan says
"I can't believe this" I say
"I swear I didn't give it to her. It was in my room since I got here." He says
"I'm sorry Hayes" I say taking my ring off
"Hailey please" he says pleading as he watches me take the ring off
"I can't" I say and hand him the ring
He won't take it.
"Hayes take it. I don't want it" I say
"Hailey, I promise you I didn't give her the ring! Please you have to believe me!" He says
"I'm sorry." I say and put the ring on the ground and walk away
"Hailey!" Hayes says and I look behind me while walking and he picks the ring up
*hayes pov*
"Hailey!" I say and pick up the ring
"Hayes" Jordan says
"Never talk to me or Hailey again. That's my princess right there and I can't afford to lose her! That's the girl I am hopefully going to marry one day. We broke up because you were nuts. We're over it's been over two years and we were children when we dated. How'd you get this ring?!" I yell
"I may have snuck into your room" she says
"Don't step foot on my property ever again" I yell and snatch the ring
I run after hailey who's sitting on the sidewalk
"She snuck in my room hailey. I would never give her your ring!" I say
"I heard you" hailey says
"Please forgive me. I love you" I say
"You're lucky I love you" she says and kisses me.
"I'm the luckiest guy in the world" he says kissing me again
This chapter was so short, omg. I just wanted it to end right here. I've got big plans that have drama and stuff. I only have three days of school left so I'll be writing a lot soon!!!!!!
