Mark was shocked. He was shocked earlier as well, of course. Who wouldn't be shocked when they see on the news that their best friend had committed mass murders and then killed himself afterwards? Who wouldn't be shocked when they see that the person they loved more than a friend just committed the biggest crime of the century?
Who wouldn't be shocked to see Seán McLoughlin, JackSepticEye, go absolutely crazy and kill 200 people by hand?
And who wouldn't be shocked to see that there was a video posted afterwards? After he supposedly killed himself? After the body had already been accounted for and identified. Well, Mark topped them all. He didn't know what to think, or what to say. He just sat, and rewatched the video over and over and over again.
The video looked so fake. Like those edits Robin and Seán did together for Halloween. But he knows it isn't. He knows some evil thing possessed his friend and made him do that. Made him murder everyone, and somehow he was able to get out of actual death. He somehow managed to look dead without actually being so.
And him. The actual him in the video is so different. In some shots he's covered in blood, eyes filled with anger and crazy. Others, he's his normal self but with fear overtaking every feature. Others he's a mix of both, with no blood but insanity hidden behind his blue eyes. The video constantly turns to static, switching from Seán to what is commonly referred to as Anti.
But no matter how much the video glitches the audio is always clear and precise, every word behind struck into the hearts of those who love him. All of his subscribers. His friends. His family. Mark. He never got to tell Seán he loved him... Never got the courage up to do it and now he'll never be able too.
Cause Seán is gone. Anti is here. Anti will always be here and there's nothing any one can do about it...
