As you stretched, you expected to feel a warm body, but instead felt coldness. As you opened your eyes slowly, blinking several times, you noticed that Hiccup was already gone.

You sighed as you sat up, stretching your arms above your head, hearing a satisfied pop. You then swung your legs over the side of the bed, standing up as you made your way to the desk, collecting your armor. After you changed and strapped your swords to your back, you made your way out of the room and down the stairs, seeing Valka feeding Midnight.

"Oh, Val. You didn't have to do that," you smiled.

"Oh, it's alright dear. I enjoy feeding the dragons actually," she smiled as Midnight gobbled down the fish.

You then walked over to the table, taking an apple from the fruit basket. "Do you have any plans today?" you asked, as you took a bite of the apple.

"No, I'm free. Why do you ask?" she smiled in a questioning mannor.

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go exploring today, you know? We haven't done that in awhile," you shrugged.

"Without Hiccup?" she asked, quirking a brow.

"He has his duties. Plus, I think we both need a break away from the village," you smiled, taking another bite.

"I suppose you're right," she smiled. "Just give me a few minutes to get ready."

You gave a nod as she went upstairs. After finishing your apple, you tossed it into a small basket that laid by the table as you whistled, catching Midnight's attention.

"C'mon, girl. Let's head outside," you opened the door as Midnight ran out.

Once you closed the door, you walked forward hearing the flap of wings behind you. As you turned around, you looked up with a smile sketched across your lips. "Hello Cloudjumper."

He tilted his head to the side, looking at you with wide curious eyes. You smiled a bit more, holding out your hand out towards him, as he nuzzled your hand. You then stroked his snout, causing him to purr under your touch.

"He really likes you," Valka smiled, as you turned to look at her.

"I would hope so," you chuckled, pulling your hand back. "Shall we get going?"

Valka nodded as she climbed onto Cloudjumper, as you mounted up Midnight.

"Where you two lassies headed to?"

You looked to the side seeing Gobber looking up at the both of you.

"We're just going to explore for a bit. We won't be gone long," you answered Gobber.

"Without Hiccup?" he grinned. "He's gonna be upset. You know how he gets," Gobber chuckled.

"Ah, I'll deal with him later," you waved off, making Valka and Gobber smile.

"Okay then. You two take care and have fun," Gobber waved.

"Bye Gobber!" you and Valka waved, as you both took off.

As you both flew over the ocean, you dug into the right side of Midnight's saddle, taking out your map. As you unfolded it, scanning the islands that you've been to until you spotted an area that wasn't filled out. You guessed that it would take about an hour or two to get there. Hopefully though there would be an island.

"Well," you sighed, folding your map back up and sticking it back into the saddle, "I know an area that I haven't charted down yet in my map. It's about an hour or two away, there's a fifty percent chance that there might be an island, but I'm not sure."

"Well, then lets see for ourselves," Valka smiled.
