(I'm not going to pull an April Fools joke because I'm a nice person. (And because I can't think of any good ones that people would actually care about...) I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while, writer's block is my worst enemy. But, finally, I managed to get this one out. Sorry if it's really bad. (It's not like the previous ones were any better...) Ok, you may read.)

Will's POV

I was up with the sun as usual. And so was the rest of my packmates. It's a wolf thing that I couldn't help but hate at times. Especially when I have really awesome dreams. But, this time my dream wasn't the best. I couldn't tell if it was a nightmare or some kind of vision. Apparently, Alpha pups get visions often. But, not like this. At least.. I don't think so. I stared at my ceiling for a moment, still wrapped in my blankets. What did this dream mean?

~Dream~

It was in the middle of the night. The forest was mostly silent except the nocturnal animals that did their nightly routines. For some reason I felt like I was there, standing in the shrubbery and staring out into the darkness. But, when I looked down, I saw no trace of my body. It was like I was invisible. The sound of rustling caught my attention. I looked up just in time to see a human stumble out of the shadows. My first reaction was to growl at it, or should I say him. But, for some reason, I just wanted to help him. Every part of my body was itching to run out and grab him. But, not in the hostile way it sounds. My heart skipped several beats and my stomach exploded with butterflies as I met his eyes.

The boy was certainly younger then me by a couple years. He was tiny compared to my normal height. He was wearing completely black and had raven black hair. This made his pale skin make him seem like a ghost...some kind of spirit. His obsidian eyes looked broken. It hurt to see him like that for some reason. He was leaning against a tree, hugging himself and breathing heavily as if he's been running. From what? He closed his eyes as his breathing slowed to a normal pace. He would have looked peaceful, just standing there with the moonlight reflecting off him and making him look even more ghost like. But, something made this scene much less peaceful. The bruises. He had a bruise on his right cheek and on both his arms. His hair stuck to his face and almost covered his eyes completely like it was wet. He smelled wet. He smelled like blood. He smelled of another male.

This made me angry. I'm not sure why. I felt my hands clenched into fists which assured me they still existed. I could hear my heart beat in my ears assuring me it still existed as well. I could feel Sol running around and hear him snarling, having a full blown temper tantrum in my head. Who was this "other male"? Why did just thinking of this strange boy in front of me with him make me so mad? Why was this boy hurt? I don't understand.

He opened his eyes again, locking them with mind and making my anger melt immediately. Even Sol seemed to freeze at his gaze which was extremely unlike him. We stared at each other for a while. He didn't seem to be looking at me. More like.. Through me. But, I could see his eyes nonetheless. And then something weird happened. Sol murmured something to me, yet I couldn't hear it. Then he said it again. The simple words sent a tingling sensation through me. I continued to stare at the boy, knowing the words were directed towards him. And for some reason, it slipped out of my mouth.

"Mate.. Mine!"

~End of Dream~

And the moment those words left my lips, my eyes snapped open and I sat up. My eyes searched my bedroom as if expecting to see the boy standing there. Honestly, I hoped that was the case. But, no such luck.

Thoughts raced through my head ever since I woke up. I haven't even moved from my bed since I woke up. Who was that boy? Why was he hurt? Why was he in the forest. Why was he... Human? Is it possible for a wolf to be paired with a human? Maybe I was mistaken in my dream. Maybe he wasn't human. No, he was. I know that for sure. Then.. Is it true? Does my mate really exist? Or was that dream just my mind showing me what I want to see?

My inner argument that even Sol jumped in on after awhile continued until it was interrupted by a sudden knock on my door.

"Will honey! Come on now and get out of bed. You're usually the first one up! No time for feeling lazy! I made breakfast!" My mother's southern voice shouted through my door.

I sat up and shouted a simple "Coming" as a reply through my door. I couldn't help but smile to myself as I grabbed and put on some blue jeans and indigo shirt. And that smile never left as I hurried downstairs to meet my family. If my dream was correct, then I know what my mate looks like. And maybe I'll know where to look. If my dream took place last night, he should still be there right? And if not last night, then it must be this night. But, knowing what he looks like would make it a hell of a lot easier to look for him. I sighed softly to myself as the image of his obsidian eyes came into my mind again.

I guess I'm not mateless after all...
