Will's POV

I didn't know what I expected Nico's reaction to be. Shocked? Angry? Terrified? I wasn't sure. The dead silence that was coming from Nico, other than his breathing wasn't helping that fact. Then he spoke.

"What... Did he.. Say anything..?"

I blinked, anger making my blood boil as I thought back on the events that had happened.

~Memory~

I had just found Luke. His rancid scent was so painfully strong against Nico's, I was able to recognize it by memory alone. I'm sure Ethan was quite startled when Lou Ellen, Cecil and I stormed into his camp like we did. But I didn't care.

He was in the Alpha's house. Roaming the hallways. Lou and Cecil stood outside to stop the Alpha or anyone else from intervening. I had pinned him against the wall, hand to his throat. Mild panic filled his eyes, like he had expected this to happen but it was still scary. Sol had taken part control, making my eyes darken but not to his exact color.

"You filthy bastard," Sol's voice slipped from my mouth. Such "Filthy Bastard" had the nerve to smirk at me. In a moment, he's not gonna have a face to put that smirk on..

"So your the doggy that stuck to Nico, eh?" His voice was so.. Unimpressed. "Listen, I don't know what Nico told you-"

"He didn't need to tell me anything!" I was able to speak this time.

"Let me finish," Luke sighed. "I don't know what he told you, but it's a big misunderstanding."

"Oh fuck off," Sol scoffed.

"I'm serious," Luke locked eyes with me. Sol snarled, taking that as a sign of aggression as it is for wolves. Luke knew this, he must have, since his smirk grew. "He's human. Do you know how many humans cheat on their partners? And Nico's a pretty good manipulator."

I growled again as Luke fluttered his eyelashes and put on a voice as if mocking Nico's. "'Will! He touched me! He hurt me! I couldn't stop him!' Sound familiar?"

"No," I was resisting the urge to rip his throat out. "He didn't tell me anything. Your scent was much too heavy on him. I put two and two together myself."

I smirked as Luke blinked. He expected Nico to come crying and spilling out everything that happened. Idiot. "What's your excuse now?"

"H-He told me to do it!" Luke spat out. The guy's this desperate, huh? "Yeah I offered, but he took my offer!"

"Don't be fucking ridiculous," Sol sneered. Luke glared, purposing locking eyes with me as a sign of aggression.

"It's true!" Luke frowned. "I was only doing what he asked! He basically begged for it!"

I hesitated. Would Nico do that? I dropped Luke, humming. "Yeah.. Fine," I mumbled, turning around.

"Sol," I said suddenly, smirking. "I know you want to. Go ahead."

Walking out of another Alpha's house, covered in a guy's blood, might not have been the best thing. People stared, shrieked, and ran away. Lou and Cecil stared at me, slightly shocked.

"Where's Ethan," I asked, Lou flinching for some reason. I was sure my voice was calm. "I want to.. Talk to him."

Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Ethan walked up, hesitantly and stared at me. I glared at him, stepping forward. "I think we're done with this pack."

"Good. Leave," he huffed, crossing his arms and glaring at me.

"No. I mean as a whole," I corrected myself. "The East pack is no longer in the alliance."

That got him. "What?! What the fuck?! You're being ridiculous! Why blame everyone for something Luke did?!"

"Oh don't think your off the hook," I sneered. "It's your fault this happened to."

"I wasn't the one who raped him!" He snapped. "And I wasn't the one who let him get away in the first place."

Sol snapped. He jerked violently at Ethan's words, leaping and tackling him. Cecil lunged, grabbing my shirt to try and pull me off. Ethan gasped, a scream catching in his throat. "Fuck you!" Sol snapped before both Cecil and Lou were able to successfully pull me off. "Even if you didn't rape him, you still didn't tell anyone he was here!"

Ethan hesitated. He knew I was right. "And you obviously couldn't protect him! That bastard's scent is too heavy! It happened more than once!" Ethan struggled to sit up, his eyes bulging.
"You let this happen to him!" It felt as though both Sol and I were speaking. I don't even know if that's possible. "Your pack took both of my brothers. I'll be damned if I let you take my mate too."

"Let's just go, Will," Cecil tugged at my arm.

"I don't want to find any of your mutts on my territory," I snarled. "Man, woman, or child. As long as they have East blood in them, they'll die by my hand. Am I understood?"

Ethan hesitated for a moment, looking down at the dirt. "Yes..."

~Memory end~

"Then I came home," I explained everything that had happened. I had washed the blood off in the guest bathroom and grabbed the clothes I left in my old bedroom.

Nico didn't say anything for awhile. Then I said something pretty crazy.
