Will's POV

TW: Sol decides to take control during certain points. You know what that means.

(Because I love you guys and you've been waiting so.. "Patiently".. I decided I shall update today.)

I was kind of scared when Nico showed up at the door. I was sure I told him about the meeting. Well, I was missing him anyway. And I was getting tired of the Alphas complaining that I didn't have a mate. Now I was holding Nico on my lap and pretty much showing him off to everyone. Even my dad has an "In your face" look on. God I really love him sometimes. When I pulled Nico to me and the other Alphas stared in bewilderment, I saw from the corner of my eye my father gesturing dramatically at Nico and mouthing, "Tada!" I almost snorted.

Maybe holding Nico on my lap was a bad idea. His scent filled my nose and almost overwhelmed me. I bit my lip and kept my gaze lowered to try and hide the fact that my lust was trying to get the better of me. If it did, it wouldn't be very pretty. Finally, someone spoke. My grandfather. Yaay.

"You've got to be kidding," was the only thing he'd said. I felt Nico stiffen a bit, probably because it was more of a rumble than just a statement. I tightened my grip on him, shooting him a glare.

"What? What are we kidding?" Sol's voice snapped from my mouth, making the other Alphas jump. "He's our mate. Fuck off."

My dad turned his head at the swear word and frowned. I shrugged apologetically at him but didn't bother doing so to the Alphas. They didn't deserve it. Nico was still a little stiff so I gave him another squeeze and felt him calm down. The Alphas recovered from their shock and Ares spoke up. Because everyone always wanted to hear what he wanted to say.

"You must be joking! It's human!" He barked. Nico visibly flinched, hard. I even felt it. I stood up, gently setting Nico on the floor as I did so. Nico took a step back and surprisingly towards my father.

"For one, asshole, he isn't an "It". And two, yes we know very well he is human. We're not an idiot. But we don't care. And we don't see any reason why you should. If it truly bothers you that much than you can piss off and create your own alliance that no one is going to fucking join because you're nothing but a piece of shit who thinks he's tough!" I let Sol take control just over my words and he snapped at Ares, leaning over the table to try and get as close to him as possible.

When he finally stopped I plopped back in my seat, panting from saying all of that in one breath. Nico inched his way over to me. His face turned red as he climbed on my lap again, taking my wrists and forcing me to wrap my arms around him again. I smiled and gladly hugged him close. I swear I heard my father squeak. Why? I have no idea.

The Alphas remained quiet after that, sometimes looking up and giving me a cautious look. I just sat there, not paying attention to the conversations going on around me. I was trying my best not to let the urge to mark him take control. I was proud of Sol for fighting it away as well.

I just hope the Alphas are smart enough to get past this little disagreement....
