"Be a girl with a mind, a woman with attitude, and a lady with class."

"Okay, okay. Wait!" Levi shouted, causing everyone to stare at him. His voice was loud, clear and demanding.
"Stacy," he turned to look at her, "I know what happens next and I'd rather not live that again."
He turned to Justin, "I don't care what you think," he grabbed Alyssa's hand and pulled her, "but she's getting out of here with me."
"What-" Stacy and Justin started at the same time but were interrupted by the sounds of the glass shattering as the golden eyed people marched right in through the broken windows and doors.
They weren't just three of them. There were five.
"Jesus," Levi started lowly and then shouted, pulling Alyssa along him and running towards the back door, "Christ!"
The soldiers ran after them.
Levi saw an old man sitting on a chair, relaxing and unaware of the chase going on inside. Beside him was a table.
The table had keys on top of it.
The old man was in the backside of the bar, he must be the owner or an employee.
He remembered seeing only one car parked in the staff zone.
Thoughts spun fast inside Levi's mind and he swiftly snatched the keys and ran for his life along with Alyssa, quite literally.
All the old man could do was shout before the five people passed him, running in hysteria, and thus silencing him.
"Get in! Get in!" Levi shouted and let go of her as she immediately got inside the car.
Levi instantly started the engine, took a 180 degree turn and stepped on the pedal with full force. The tires screeched and they swayed violently, before Levi stabilised the car and they drove far away in full speed.
....
"What the hell was that?!" Alyssa shouted once they were in a safe distance.
Levi slowed the car a bit. "That was close."
"Justin, he-"
"He's not real, Alyssa."
She bit back her tongue and looked out of the window as the green grass and yellow farms passed behind.
"Directly to Louisiana, I guess." Levi said and Alyssa nodded.
"It's a long drive." He sighed.
Alyssa remained silent. Levi had saved them back there. She didn't know how to react to it without having to thank him. She came up empty.
"Are you even listening to me?"
"No. What?" She asked.
Levi glared at her. "I said, we need a plan to steal the witch's remains. It's not like they'll open up to us."
"We'll figure something out. First let's see if they even have it. God knows what's changed here."
"No. It's our memory, our world. In our world, that's where the remains are, so here that's where they are too." Levi stated.
"That bar wasn't my memory, Levi. Things aren't that simple and straight here."
"Yes, but it was my memory. I mean, as I said before, we don't have much memories together that we remember.. and Aradia casted us both. So maybe our memories are getting intertwined with each other, creating a new reality."
