"It's natural to want to fix her. As men, that's what we do. We find solutions. We repair things. It's our instinct. But you have to let that go because you can't fix her and you never will. Give her love. Give her faith and give her the knowledge that you believe in her to fix herself."

"You know, Crystal, we keep saying we have five ingredients but let's not forget Levi and Alyssa have three of them."
Crystal turned back at Robb's words with a thoughtful expression. "But Levi will want these two. He will give the rest to you so you all can get out."
Robb scoffed. "I don't think he's gonna leave Alyssa like that. Didn't look like it. He hasn't even tried to call and inform me what he's been up to."
"He's still out of the Angels' radar."
"Figures." He sighed. "Anyways, for our next step, how do we break in and set Ian out?"
"That's our next step?"
"Yes?"
"I think we should focus on getting the last ingredient. Not even I know where we'll find it."
"But that's my brother. He'll turn crazy, just like Alyssa if I don't help him out. This is why I came back after three years in the first place!"
"Priorities change, Robb. You should worry about getting yourself and Rachel out."
"If we don't even have a lead on how to get the damn thing, how are we supposed to go on? But you do know how we can defuse that spell in the cemetery. Why let there be another causality?"
"Because to save one, I can't risk two more! Two are already gone, Robb!"
"It's my decision to make. I'm sorry, but I'm gonna let Ian out first. I already listened to you once and got the fruit."
And paid a good price for it, he added mentally.
"You'll risk your and Rachel's life for him?" Crystal called out as Robb started walking away from her.
"Without a thought."
"Well, you can't take Rachel's life decisions!"
But Robb didn't reply.
....
Alyssa's screams filled the cold and lonely air. She was in excruciating pain and Levi brutally kept on going.
The chains rattled as she the symbols kept absorbing her energy out and the glass burned her skin, leaving black scars on her similar to the ones Levi had on his stomach.
"It's been the whole night, Levi." Alyssa panted out. Her head hung low and her hair tangled in a frizzy mess as they hid her face. "Not long before the ones who were out last night return and kill you."
"Or.. before I kill them." Levi said.
He expected a smart remark from her but all he got was low moaning, a few grunts and heavy breathing.
He looked back at her.
Hung in the chains, covered in scars. Her fragile figure was only supported up by the chains on her wrists.
He felt a heavy sensation when he realised it was all his work. He was being ruthless to her. All his anger, he had taken out on the girl before her, the girl he learnt nursery rhymes with.
"Let me out..!" She cried, her voice was rough and hoarse from all the screaming.
He looked guiltily at her. He felt like he truly had lost himself when he was hurting her so much. Like a raging mad man who beat her up so violently and mercilessly.
