Levi was silently driving his car with Robb and Rachel in the car behind him.

"So once you're gone.." Rachel said as she kept her gaze in the car in front of her.

"None of this was supposed to end this way." Robb said with a troubled expression. "Not you, not Ian.. and neither Alyssa.." he softly added her name.

"But it's okay, right?" She tried to smile. "Earth will be safe and the Angels will defeat the witch."

"At our expense."

She glanced at Robb. The boy she loves, was so broken.. so angry and so.. lost.

"When you go back," she cleared her throat, "I want you to live happily, okay? Find a girl, love her deeply.."

Robb shook his head, trying to contain his emotions.

"..don't be so awkward around her like you were with me when we first met." She laughed and sniffed.

Robb let out a laugh as well and then again shook his head. "No, Rachel," his voice shivered, "I can't let you go."

"I love you." She smiled and grabbed his hand.

He squeezed her hand gently. "I love you more."

"Don't do anything stupid in the spur of the moment." She tried to say what was on her mind indirectly.

He didn't reply.

"Robb!"

"I am not promising."

"You are! I swear I'll kill you!"

"After I'm already dead?" He smiled.

"Robb." She said seriously. "I'm dead and you're killing me. Promise me you won't ever do that. I want you to live your life, you're just 21! You'll find someone better, your the one."

"Even you had your whole life ahead of you. I wanted you to live it, be my the one."

She closed his eyes. "Robb.. please.."

"I won't." He said blandly.

"Say it like you mean it."

"I won't," he said loudly, "I won't ever do that."

"That's better. Now I'll try to find that root we need." She said and grabbed the laptop from the backseat. "Where are we heading, anyways?"

"I don't know, I'm just following him."

"I don't think he's in the right mindset to be making decisions. Maybe he's just driving around."

"Who here is in their right mind? Certainly not me." He said coldly.

"We all just need some time." She said slowly.

"And we don't have that."

Pioche, Nevada

Levi's car stopped at a motel. Robb stopped right behind him as Levi got out.

"Where are we?" Rachel asked as Levi made his way to their car.

"Pioche." Robb replied and rolled the window down.

Levi leaned down. "You guys can stay here if you want. I kinda need.. air.. I don't know I don't wanna drive." He sighed.

"Yeah, we get it, Levi." Rachel replied. "We all need a minute."
